Imprisoned terrorists still advocating terror

1993 World Trade Center bombers exhort jihad in letters.

It was 12:18 p.m. on Feb. 26, 1993, lunch time, when the van exploded. The massive bomb rattled the World Trade Center, leaving a giant crater in the underground garage. Six people were killed and more than 1,000 were wounded. At the time, it was the worst act of terrorism ever committed on American soil. Three Islamic extremists were among those convicted; each sentenced to more than 100 years in prison. Former prosecutor Andy McCarthy convicted others involved in the attack. "It's difficult to imagine people who are more evil or inclined to do more mass homicide," says McCarthy.

So the men were sent to America's most-secure federal prisons, eventually ending up at Supermax in Colorado, supposedly unable to do further harm. Or so we thought. Letters and articles obtained by NBC News show that while behind bars, the 1993 bombers continued their terrorist activities. They wrote letters to other suspected terrorists and brazenly praised Osama bin Laden in Arabic newspapers. According to confidential Spanish court documents obtained by NBC, at least 14 letters went back and forth between the World Trade Center bombers and a Spanish terror cell. A copy of the envelope containing a letter sent Feb. 2003 letter from Salameh to Achraf. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In February 2003, bomber Mohammed Salameh writes: "Oh God! Make us live with happiness, make us die as martyrs, may we be united on the Day of Judgment." The recipient, Mohamed Achraf, later allegedly led a plot to blow up the National Justice Building in Madrid, and is awaiting trial.

Did it say that in the article, because I didn't see it? Not that I doubt you're right.

And then we need to make sure they are monitored and nothing passes between attorney and client without a review by a court appointed official.

Why are these murders in jail being cared for with our tax dollars? Seems to me they should be six feet under.

As I see it we have two choices intercept and follow their mail to put more behind bars or just make thier crimes a capital offense and put in a Texas Express lane ... or both.

ACLU RDDBs object ,let them join them in the express lane.

I saw this piece on NBC this evening and was just stunned. These monsters were freely allowed to send mail exhorting more murders by other Arab terrorists. Their jailers, US Federal Department of Prisons employees, didn't think they were dangerous enough to monitor closely.
What I think we have here is the usual government bow-wows more worried about their pensions than doing their jobs. They should be fired tomorrow.

Employees should definitely be fired. Immediately. This is absolutely unacceptable.

And their letters got results. People died. The Federal Prison employees in Colorado were directly responsible.

What's funny about this is that these very same terrorists that the lawyers are shuttling letters back and forth for would have no qualms whatsover about slitting their infidel throats if they ever had the chance.
