TAMPA, Fla. - Terri Schiavo's parents asked a Pinellas court judge Monday to allow her to divorce her husband - in either life or death - in a court filing accusing Michael Schiavo of adultery and not acting in his wife's best interests.
The filing was one of a flurry of 15 motions filed by Bob and Mary Schindler as they now have less than three weeks to find a legal way to keep their severely brain-damaged daughter alive.
Terri Schiavo is scheduled to have the feeding tube that has kept her alive for 15 years removed March 18 unless her parents can convince an appeals court to block Michael Schiavo again. Michael Schiavo says he will have the tube pulled because his wife once told him she would never want to be kept alive artificially.
David Gibbs, the Schindler's attorney, said Pinellas Circuit Court Judge George Greer has indicated he will not hear the divorce request and five other motions filed Monday - but that only means that the matters are now on their way to being appealed to the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Lakeland........

I don't know for certain the answer to your question, but could swear for some reason, because of Florida Law that wouldn't work.
Why would it be a lie? Perhaps Terri has more self esteem than you give her credit for. Would you tolerate this type of behavior from your spouse? You see? It isn't a lie, it is common sense that she would want a divorce. Some say she was through with him before she had her "accident".
Of course, Michael desperately needs to remain in his position as her guardian. This will ensure that she never regains the ability to tell anyone what really happened...and the corrupt judge and legal system is playing along with him.

Really? And legally speaking, divorce by proxy is covered where? Show me the statute, or in the absence of a statute, precedence will work.

This is America- no one does their homework. They sit their self-centerd, lazy, jelly-filled heads in front of a tube and expext to be informed with "facts" from the likes of Dan Rather and Eason Jordan! God forbid anyone actually read about it or serch for facts before forming an opinion on starving someone to death!

BTW- it is against FLorida Statute to file for divorce on Terri's behalf- but hten again- why should it matter- not like Judge Greer is too worried about MANY STATUTES!!!
You better believe Terri would ASK FOR A DIVORCE under these circumstances. Has anyone TOLD HER that Michael is living with another woman?? I think she OUGHT TO BE TOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If she didn't say it, it would be a lie to say she did. I know that may be a complicated concept, but think hard on it and maybe you'll get it.
