And I'm gonna defend 'em if I think you're wrong.I actually appreciate that, and would expect nothing less.
This may be big news to us political junkies, but it's not gonna raise eyebrows (and, hence, ratings) of the average Joe. Which is rather sad, but it's reality.
And unfortunately, I agree with you completely there.

But that is what a significant majority of dumbed-down, bread & circuses Americans want, you know.
Give us more Michael Jackson, Scott Peterson and Martha Stewart.
Back off on the Putin Summit, Lebanon and North Korean nukes (those insignificant issues you know).

Extremely happy Howlin. God Bless America, God bless President Bush, and God bless our troops who are fighting to preserve our freedom here and spread the freedom in the Middle East.

To Coop, all of this is insignificant
To: BigSkyFreeper
Matter of opinion. You've got a closed mind it seems. Fine. I'm opening my mind.
Syria - which was not mentioned in President Bush's Axis of Evil speech - is a member of President Bush's Axis of Evil.
The irony of your accusation is quite amusing.

Good morning and thanks for that great picture.
The good Lebanese and Iranian people have put up with the Islamonazis for decades. We pray that we are seeing the beginning of the end of Islamofascism and Islamo Terrorism.
Below is the official DNC response to this good news!

A few months ago, Washington imposed sanctions on Syria under an act accusing Damascus of seeking weapons of mass destruction, a charge Syria denies, and hosting Palestinian groups Washington deems terrorist.
In September, the UN Security Council passed a resolution calling on Syria to withdraw its troops from Lebanon and dismantle the Syrian-backed Lebanese Hezbollah guerrilla group.
More recently, US President George W. Bush has warned Syria and Iran against "meddling" in the internal affairs of Iraq.
Right, Bush had nothing to do with this at all!

To Coop, all of this is insignificant Let me grab my popcorn while you try to support this nonsensical accusation...
Just think. An adult would have said, way back when, "Oops. My mistake. Thanks for the correction."

"History-being-made bump."
My great-grandparents were Maronite Christians from Lebanon, so I'm obviously ecstatic about recent developments. Still, there is a long way to go before Lebanon becomes free and prosperous once again.

After he rattled off the three countries you mentioned, he then says, " States like these, and their terrorist allies, constitute an axis of evil, arming to threaten the peace of the world."

I only acknowledge my mistake when it's apparent. In this case, I am right, and you are wrong.

We know you are the GO-TO GUY on North Korean issues here on FR.
But get a load of this!
All very interesting, in an international sense, and especially as relates to the Great General Kim Jong -il ensconsed somewhere up in the people's paradise with his dancing girls and dwindling bottles of Chivas Regal.

I'm very familiar with the speech, apparently a bit more familiar with it than you are. Keep tap dancing.
