Terri's Freepers,
Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.
What can we do?

4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.
5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.
6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.
7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.
8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.
9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.
Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

IF this is the kind of answer that is coming out of the Governor's office and I wish that HE and the rest of his "legislators?" would just go home and do something important, like re-arrange their canned goods and pluck their cats eyebrows. What the hell is that answer supposed to mean. He is COMPLETELY shirking and skirting HIS sworn oath duties in this case. It's a disgrace!! CO
My God, you are correct, Lynne. I noticed your response and reviewed that E-mail. It's little better than Bishop's Lynch's latest bizarre remarks regarding Terri Schiavo (see above). And it gives COVER for Bernie McCabe, the Sheriff's office and other officials who dropped the ball in this case.
Time for hundreds of protestors to march on Tallahassee. If that letter is any indication, we NEED a MARCH FOR JUSTICE for Terri.
What is so frightening is that they do not. What it looks like is that she is conscious but can't speak or move hardley at all.
The possibility that she is actually conscious is horrifying.
Imagine not being able to talk or move but being conscious.
All you can do is talk to yourself in your head.
Stare at the walls and think...think about what? How many days has she been like this? How much thinking can she do? But there is nothing else she can do but think. If only I could talk or write I would tell them what I'm thinking. Does she just lay in a room by herself all day? Is the tv constantly on so she has something to watch or the radio on so she has something to listen to. Do people talk to her 8 hours a day or put the newspaper in front of her so she can keep up on current events? If she is conscious and has none of these things don't you think it would only take a short time before you went crazy?
ABSOLUTELY!! A sea of angry people (voters) outside their windows is what will get some action. As it stands, they don't HAVE TO do anything. As you say, they are now standing behind the cover of the Bishop Lynch's and other RELIGIOSITY. That doesn't cause fear to strike their hearts at all. They consider it a small segment of the voting block. No wonder Judge Greer is comfortable with making these outrages decisions over and over. I don't see any change coming in his rulings.
That particular email is from 2003? I know that it most certainly is different from the one I got in 2004. My last email which was a zinger, got NO reply.
What is it you are arguing here? What do you mean by PVS?
It seems to me that PVS means a person can't communicate it doesn't say anything about whether or not they are conscious. That is to say that they are able to think to themselves but just can't talk or write or gesture what they are thinking.
But churchill has the Government capitulated to the Courts? Sure sounds like EVERYBODY is passing the ball to George Greer. And we certainly know what HIS law for THIS case is. DEATH!! I'm just sick. IF the Governor were going to act I can't understand why he hasn't acted definitively by now or at least SERVED NOTICE that he was taking control.

What we are argueing here is that Terri should be allowed to live because she is not a vegetable.
I pray to God that she is because if is isn't then she is conscious and able to think.
I define being conscious as thinking. Pretty much the same as being awake. What is the difference between sleep and wakefulness? The difference is that you are aware of your surroundings and are taking in the stimuli. Seeing, hearing, smelling and thinking about these things.
We constantly think to ourselves. What do I mean when I say think to ourselves? It is the same as talking to ourself.
To be conscious means to be able to communicate to ourselves or someone else.
Webster comes close with the definition of having mental faculties undulled by sleep.
Mental faculties is thinking, thinking is communicating.
Being able to think and not communicate is being paralyzed.

I just had a positive thought. In 2003, he sent that letter but then went on to help pass Terri's law.
He sounds more committed now. Let's hope and pray he's got something even better up his sleeve this time.

Regardless, don't you see how full of lies it was and that it was 15 days before her feeding port was surgically removed?
We had been begging the governor since late August 2003 and providing him evidence of crimes... so had tons of other people. And the people were not just reporting to him the crimes but also to Bernie McCabe, Sheriff Rice and Charlie Crist, etc. The matter was not before the Florida Supreme Court and Terri's death sentence had already been ruled to be Oct. 15.
There was no retraction or admission of fault after this e-mail was sent out after his office (Lauren O'Connor) had been apprised that they made a big screw up. O'Connor went and talked to other people and told me she worked closely with Jeb's legal team. She also promised me a personal response if I wrote an e-mail and listed out what I took exception to.
I was never contacted back with a personal response as promised. I guess they don't believe they are beholden to anyone (i.e. the public). I guess I was the only one to take them to task for it and no one else realized how much of an affront it was? Does anyone want to see my fax to them?
Now I'm going to take this 2003 e-mail and compare it to last e-mail so you can see what I'm talking about. Also keep in mind that the last e-mail was sent out by the same lying person, Lauren O'Connor (supposed Office of Citizen's Services from Jeb's email account) and when she did was almost exactly 15 to 16 days before Terri's scheduled commencement of extrajudicial execution (Greer is not a legal judge), just like last time. If this isn't scary I don't know what is. Sure that last e-mail doesn't have all the lies this time but it does say it's going to be a difficult time for Terri and for those who love her, etc. making it sound like it's the same attitude as last time. Does not anyone see this?
