I sure hope so. Their news will undoubtedly be more accurate!!
Might be something Scoop could get her teeth into. I remember thinking at the time how great that Terri was getting a different judge. Greer is determined to keep this case. There's some reason why...money? lawyer has something on him? to promote the hemlock society's agenda?
RE: 171 unfortunately it's not drained yet---still at least three articles on my table
Accordng to the Tampa Times, the Schindlers motions include not only a motion for divorce but several other interesting things as well. See esp.last paragraph:
Schiavo Parents Seek Divorce for Daughter
Monday February 28, 2005 11:16 PM
By VICKIE CHACHERE
Associated Press Writer
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Terri Schiavo's parents asked a judge Monday to allow the severely brain-damaged woman to divorce her husband, accusing him of adultery and not acting in his wife's best interests.
It was one of a flurry of 11 motions filed by Bob and Mary Schindler, who have less than three weeks to find a way to keep their daughter alive.
Michael Schiavo says his wife, who has spent 15 years in what doctors call a vegetative state, once told him she would never want to be kept alive artificially. Her parents have fought his efforts but Pinellas Circuit Court Judge George Greer ruled that Schiavo can have her feeding tube removed on March 18.
The Schindlers' attorney, David Gibbs, said Greer had indicated he will not hear the divorce request and five of the other motions filed Monday, but that only means that the matters are now on their way to being appealed.
Appearing at a rally in Jacksonville, the Schindlers called on Gov. Jeb Bush to look into the circumstances that led to their daughter's 1990 collapse and asked Attorney General Charlie Crist to investigate whether Terri Schiavo's civil rights have been violated.
``We have filed divorce proceedings because of (Michael Schiavo's) total disregard for Terri as his wife,'' Bob Schindler said. ``He is married to Terri, but he is living with another woman and he has two children by her. It has become quite obvious that his priorities are not in Terri's best interest.''
``Remaining married to him is an embarrassment,'' Gibbs said.
Michael Schiavo's attorney, George Felos, called the new motions little more than an attempt to clog the case with further delays. Felos has said even if Michael Schiavo were to divorce his wife, any new guardian would be obligated to remove Terri Schiavo's feeding tube because the court has ruled it is her wish not to be kept alive artificially.
``I think everyone knows the parents are going to try anything, including throwing in the kitchen sink, to frustrate the court's final judgment and Terri's wishes,'' Felos said.
Other motions by the Schindlers ask that some news reporters be allowed to see Terri Schiavo's interactions with her parents, since they contend she responds to them; that they be allowed to take pictures with her before she dies and that those photographs not become Michael Schiavo's property, as a current court order now requires; that she be allowed to die at home; and that they be allowed to bury her rather than the cremation her husband has planned.

OK I found it
It was Judge Baird who was being rotated at the time the Gov case was coming up in 2nd DCA
This from http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:X_sVgDq3CWYJ:www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1052032/posts+judge+rotation+greer+nellie&hl=en
Whether that is, or is not, the reason the judges have been switched, the very important change in judge can be extremely significant to what happens to Terri. We are hoping that Judge Khouzam will give the Gov a fair hearing in the case and allow the discovery he sought (which was denied by Baird). If Judge Khouzam allows some discovery as requested by Gov Bush, it could make all the difference!
Once the swamp is drained,Scoop1 will be dredging up the skeletions lying on the bottom that no one thought would be found.
Oh no I'm at the end of the thread and all by myself... Waaaaaa
We grow more informed, more adept at sharing information and sending it out over the phone lines and puters, and we support each other! Everyday.
Why we are even getting professional at handling trolls! LOL
GOD BLESS THIS EFFORT!
Bump for Terri's rights!!
:) :) I found some skeletons now that some are gonna wish they'd buried better---stay tuned
LOL, Yes I know not "really" alone, but I had a few min to sit here without interruption and Seemed no one was posting LOL
I am never too far away!
Jacksonville / Federal Court Bldg / 1:30 pm. 2/28
Speakers: Ted Hires of the Justice Coalition; Senator FL Sen. Stephen Wise; FL Rep. Don Davis; a representative of the St. Augustine diocese. Details covered: Terris divorce filed this am, demand DCF investigation / Crist get involved, __________ . . .
Then the Schindlers spoke. Bob Sr told about the visit he and David Gibbs made to Terri last Fri or so, when she totally ignored him and kept her attention & her eyes on Atty. Gibbs. He also told about her sour face when he approaches her to give her a kiss.
Bobby spoke, incl. about the Gators for Terri, who will be in St. Pete next weekend. Mary Schindler mentioned that swallowing tests are mandated every 2 yrs and that Terri hasn't had one since _____.
At the end, the Schindlers were given a purple soft stuffed rabbit to give to Terri -- perhaps that will show up in some photos we'll see on the news channels. They are going to make sure that Terri gets it.
I needed a tape recorder to give more detail, but in truth, I was applauding, taking the whole scene in, glad things were said, esp. the news that they had filed this am for a divorce. I do believe that is the main thing of it, lets get Terri away from Michael. Jacksonville gave them a warm welcome, Mr. Schindler said afterwards.
Believe me, I'm staying tuned! Maybe they should have had those skeletons cremated like they plan to do to Terri.
Oh my word, so even if Michael is removed as gaurdian over Terri, the feeding tube would still have to be removed because Judge Greer ruled that it is Terri's wish have it removed. That is just not right, it was Michael's wish and the court order was for Michael, not for Terri.
Thanks for sharing!
I agree but Greer keeps conveniently forgeting that Michael has a huge conflict of interest. Actually Greer has conflicts of interest and he just lets it all hang out because he is allowed to get away with it. What ever happened to checks and balances? Checks and balances are not supposed to be a group of good old boys covering each other's butts
I've thought Terri was a saint, too. If she is martyred for the euthanasia movement I pray the Church will beatify her.
