That site was last updated in 1999. Much evidence has come out since then that shows how beneficial it is to leave the protective foreskin intact (as well as the benefits for marital relations... :-)

Additionally, it has been discovered that babies who were circumcised are much more sensitive and fearful of pain of later vaccinations.

How about letting the kids choose for themselves when they get older whether they want to mutilate their bodies or not?

Since I remember absolutely nothing about it, I think I am happy with the decision my parents made. Thats my opinion though.
As for letting them choose when they get older...Have you seen some of these people walking around with more holes and jewelery sticking out of their heads, than you would find in a jewelery store? You are right, whats one more mutilation?

Right on! I see a few of you have done some serious research. Kudos to you and the guy who said "I'll take my chances intact."

God gave boys foreskins, but only told Jews to cut them off. And those of you who still want to cut off your babies' nerve supply there, consider doing it the Jewish way (Dr. Dean edell suggests this).

Huh? I would rather be hung by my ears with hooks than undergo circumcision on a fully developed unit. The time to do it is when things are scaled down to baby size. I detect the trial lawyers rubbing their money grubbing hands together trying to build a case in which full scale lawsuits will be launched at every parent who put their poor boy through this barbaric procedure. Wanna bet?

This is just not correct. Almost all data since 1999 proves the benefits of circumcision. Interestingly, most of the benefits are more beneficial if the circumcision is shortly after birth. Some of the references are in the Toward tradition article at www.towardtradition.org.

The same holds true for the sensitivity and pain questions. Unfortunately the anti-circ crowd has more than children's health on their minds.

I let my husband decide whether to circumcise our son. He decided that he didn't want our son circumcised.

I figure if my son wants to later in life, he can.

So far, he's 10 and no problems.
