A carp with a face resembling a tiger swims in the Wulong Pool at a park in Jinan, east China's Shandong province February 25, 2005. The strange fish was found by local residents and has drawn hundreds of visitors in the past two days. Staff at the park said some fish-lovers even called the park and offered a high price to buy the fish. CHINA OUT REUTERS/China Newsphoto |
Your friend FishFaceLikeTiger, I presume?
Westerners don't understand how asian folk feel about birds
and fish. Really quite wonderful.
LOL..oh reallly? I shop at a traditional market every other day and see exactly how "asian folk" feel about birds and fish....LOL.

Just learned of this off the web, from SEGA DREAMCAST called Caution Seamen
we used to have some lovely koi...then some sicko dumped some chlorine in the water...
Yeah, he has been lost for a long time. It was a shock to see him in the news photo.:) Didn't know that he became a celebrity in China.:)

Looks like the tiger got shot in the head...
Asians don't understand how western folk feel about dogs and cats either.
Looks photoshopped to me.
They are from Reuters. If you are convinced, maybe you can sue them and get some damage award.:)
"Animal rights activist Donna McCormack wears a tiger-striped outfit and sits in a cage in downtown Rochester, NY, to discourage people from buying tickets to the circus. Although ticket sales did not decline, pet store owners report a 500% increase in the sale of cages."
When I was living in SE Asia they were having a plague of dognapping for the restaurants catering to that taste. I personally witnessed one, the guys came swooping in on their motorcycle, the guy on the back grabbed the mutt and somehow kept it from biting as they zoomed away.
Three or four years ago the authorities in Hanoi started cracking down on catnapping. That was for the southern China palate, but the absence of cats was causing field rats to inundate the rice fields.
Not to worry, the bird flu scare in Cambodia caused people to switch from chicken to field rat for dinner.
