I just find it hard to believe that Lebanese Hezbollah is behind this. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they have been limited to raiding just across the Lebanese border or mortar attacks from Lebanon. A suicide bomber in Tel Aviv would mean serious flaws in Israel's northern defense. If Hezbollah is responsible at all, a more likely scenario is Hezbollah money paying for an West Bank Al-Aqsa guy to blow himself up.

Sara_f, are you listening to yourself? You sound like one of them. That doesn't help anything.

No matter who head the Palestinians....... they don't WANT peace. How sad.

BINGO! Betcha Hamas also tries to take credit.
The more things change, the more they remain the same. Israel's societal suicide, continues, betrayed, unabated, abetted and aided, by the pols. Sold out, from inside.

"However, militants in the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, a violent group with ties to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah (news - web sites) movement, said the Lebanese guerrilla group Hezbollah was involved in the attack."
There it is. ...supplied by Syria and Iran, which terrorist countries are supplied by Russia.

Abbas has a slim window in which to react in a way which shows his support for an independent state or support for the terrorist status quo. From my perspective that window closed when he refused to disarm and destroy the terrorist groups operating in his future "country", about the time it opened.

"I just find it hard to believe that Lebanese Hezbollah is behind this."Hezbollah or Hamas immediately ran through my mind too. Takes focus off Hariri's assassination and Syria still not withdrawing from Lebanon

Considering Abbas is one of the Fatah "granpas", I don't see a distinction between him and Arafat.

Rather, somebody wants the focus off Lebonese politics and back onto the old, tired, "attacks launched from bases in Lebanon" routine. Let's hope some of the focus stays on Lebanon. I'm sure Ms.Rice will keep the heat on.

He can afford one with all the cash he boosted from his protection rackets. He's still strictly off the rack though, but he is a fashion improvement from that slovenly gay guy that was his boss.
That fence can't be finished soon enough. Also, if this is Islamic Jihad, then there's nothing out there for Sharon to call in a Kurdish and Druze favor or two and have them cut a Saudi throat or two during Haj season.
