You said,"Isn't it interesting how it's a Friday again. March 18th is a Friday. Weird."

I also heard that March 18 is the anniversary of Terri's collapse.

I'm making a correction on what I wrote. Today, Feb. 25, was the anniversary of Terri's collapse.

"Michael is very immature if he thinks the only solution to his problem is to kill Terri."

Immature?? Immature? That's NOT immature! That's EVIL!!!!

Yes, I fully agree. It is evil dressed up to look like death with dignity. How I hate that term. There's nothing dignified about killing a person against their will.

Wouldn't you say that Michael made a symbolic ending of the marriage when he melted down Terri's engagement and wedding ring and turned them into a ring for himself.

Certainly. That and wanting to get married to Cindy 1 1/2 years after Terri's accident.

March 17th is ST.Patrick's Day
March 20th is Palm Sunday
March 25th is Good Friday
and March 27th...is EASTER SUNDAY

Talk about in your FACE Christians...
I am thinking about those dates...
It would be nice if Mel Gibson gets involved

In your case, it sounds as if there was nothing that could be done. In Terri's case doctors have stated rehabilitation is possible.

I cannot even imagine what you or they are going through.

Praise the Lord! There will be justice done, this time. Too many people praying, and the Judge is going to be FORCED to do the right thing! Hang in there, Terri!

You're right. More civilized means should be available for those who choose to pass gracefully. I don't think Mr. Schiavo is right by saying the process will be painless for Mrs. Schiavo or her body... Morphine should be provided in whatever dose is necessary to allow her to finally rest peacefully.

Terri swollows her own saliva, she doesn't drool nor does she choke on it. Her mother has given her jello.....which she ate and relished according to reports I read.

here read this....... the doc was nominated for a Nobel Prize and examined Terri.

I'm clamoring for the "nice easy little needle" right now. Why must we have Mrs. Schiavo endure the agony of dehydration before we will allow her peace?

Maybe Mrs. Schiavo made a mistake by not divorcing Mr. Schiavo or creating a living will, but those inactions were her choice. For people who have never met the woman to presumptuously refer to her as "Terri," and pretend like they are best friends and would know her wishes better than her husband, is absolutely absurd.

I recognize the questions that remain about Mr. Schiavo and his claims/actions, but if law enforcement sees no merit in the investigation, then either trust their judgment or work to get the Republicans out of power. Whatever you do, the broader issue remains, however: do we respect people (and their free will wishes) above some cruel, anti-freedom "life at all costs" mentality?

After reading a post today that questioned whether Islam could be considered a "religion" if one isn't allowed to leave it alive, I sit here and wonder if it can truly be "life" if we don't respect an individual's personal choices.

If this is where we are headed, then there is no need to continue to use CPR.

My medical alert tag requests just that.

But I suppose you'd impose your will if you could, imprisoning me in a situation I don't want, just to meet your zealous "life at all costs" goal?

King Vanity has enjoyed his life for 25 yrs most of it with a feeding tube.

You know not what you speak of Wild Turkey.

Oh and he is glad his trach allows air to fill his lungs.

Terri could be out enjoying her life if Micheal would step aside.

I would love to invite her to hang out here with King Vanity on the beautiful Oregon Coast when she is freed.

You're more than welcome to make your own choice.
Terri has not been shown to have made a choice.
Someday you might get it that this is an attack on
the disabled, who are costing the healthcare system
a great deal of money.
Name one person who has been dehydrated to death
that left in writing wishes for that to happen.
Just one.

She might have gotten that divorce had she been a mind reader like her HINO spouse and had an inkling of what was coming her way.

I heard a blip here in Oregon on the news that Terri's folks get to have some tests done in this "grace" period that might turn this whole thing around.

You know I wish the negative "don't get it posters" would stop testing our patience around here.

For people who have never met the woman to presumptuously refer to her as "Terri," and pretend like they are best friends and would know her wishes better than her husband, is absolutely absurd.
The reason people say Terry is because to call her by her legal last name is rather sickening, linking her as it does to the "man" who wants to finish her off (and quite possibly finish off the job he failed to do right the first time).

As for knowing her wishes better than her murdering philandering "husband thinks"... well, the documentation is plentiful that he has changed his mind on the subject. When he was pressing for the the "health care cash" he didn't know anything about any "desire to die" on TERRY's part.

Then later, cash all spent, he suddenly remembered that, oh yeah, she wanted to die.

How did you come up with your statements:

"Many of the judges are just jealous that medicine pays higher salaries than being on the bench."

and

The judges even the playing field with their lucrative retirements, of which the "common man" knows little." ?

How do you know judges are jealous? How have you come to that conclusion? Does medicine really pay higher salaries?
Do all judges have lucrative retirements?

LOL! Freepertoo and Freepertwo are both me. For some odd reason my Freepertoo name would not work on my home computer, despite passwords, et al. So I just chose another name close to it for home.
