His title is misleading, 'cause he's defending her.

a world-renowned attorney Much as I like Ann, this is a bit of a strectch. I don't think she's world-renowned because of her skills in the courtroom, although she is an attorney.

On the contrary, the point is to get you to come to more of an appreciation of Coulter's honesty and frankness. Ann doesn't have a problem, her critics do. As does the author here. It's not so much honesty as evolved parody; sarcasm and irony to the Nth degree and it has flummoxed the liberals. They have to pretend she is serious or run the risk of defending a fictional comedy routine, which Ann seems to be able to deliver with a straight face.
It is, God bless her, sarcasm honed into a weapon so effective that the losers keep digging a deeper and deeper ideological hole for themselves.

I'm a liberal, and I like to read Ann Coulter. I disagree with her a lot, but she's funny and snarky and completely forthright with her opinions. She's one of my favorite columnists to read when I just want the straight story without the word games and nuances that most writers on politics use. I used to think that her and Ted Rall would be the perfect pair of columnists to write head-to-head, but ever since President Bush was elected in 2000, Ted Rall has been losing the edge of humor that made him worthwhile, and 2004 I think just pushed him past the point of no return. So I don't even know if there's anyone left on the left to match her humor and "call a spade a spade" style.

Ann Coulter not to be taken literally I agree 100%. She should only be taken internally.

I've read a few things by her and thought they were good. But did she actually say that "women shouldn't be allowed to vote"?

One wonder if Ann "Coulter" is a pen name..
because coulter is a meaningful english word.. and oh! so accurate..
Coul·ter: a cutting tool (as a knife or sharp disc) that is attached to the beam of a plow, makes a vertical cut in the surface, and permits clean separation and effective covering of the soil and materials being turned under

Does anyone have verification on this?

What the author is railing against is Communist methodology. What he is applauding is Ann's recognition of it, exposure of it, and throughly discrediting it.

that says something about the state of liberal education today.
if an "intellectual" can't dissect her arguments, well...
