"...What is the motive behind the restaurateur turned physical therapist turned nurse who passionately pursues his wife's death? Many wonder. Could Michael Schiavo be a pawn, a pawn in a much larger game being played for much higher stakes?"

You are wrong about early Christians and suicide. Early Christians preferred to go to their deaths, most of these deaths were cruel and unusual punishments rather than give into the demands of the pagans.
However there was a group called Circumcellions who seemed to think that it was ok to suicide and they tried to set themselves up for suicide.
There are also cults such as the Manicheans and their offshoots the Catharists, which include the Albigenses who indulged in suicide, usually done by starvation and dehydration. The Albigenses actually had some very strange practices. The one of interest concerns the point at which they are considered to be Perfecti, and that is the point where they received what was their one Sacrament and then they allowed themselves to die.
This was not the practice of real Christians.
Resty I believe God knows EXACTLY when to take his people home. He doesn't need our help and HE certainly would not wish us to starve and dehydrate one another to death. I was an RN also, I have seen people wasting away. I'm not sure what your talking about as a life force. I have seen people die. I still don't believe in assisting them to die.
well said. And your right, what hypocrisy.!! I would also say, be really careful what you sign as a "living will". I think it's Alan Keyes site that has a very good article on it. I'll have to check to verify that but I did print out the article, whoever wrote it.
So you're saying that those who committed suicide and were venerated as saints were not Christian? The Circumcellions were not Christian?
I suppose you feel that because the Donatists wanted priests who weren't corrupt, they weren't Christians either.
Sorry...the church was corrupt at that time, and there were a great many Christians out there who did not go along with the church. I do feel sorry for Augustine of Hippo, with his twisted attempts to rationalize his proposed changing of views on suicide without claiming the suicides of saints were sinful--but he was a political animal, you can't deny that.
Note that suicide is not at all condemned in Scripture, and it's actually held up as a positive--a form of atonement similar to sacrifice. Note, for example, Judas.
Hey, Jesus actively resisted the moneychangers in the temple. Why'd he passively resist a death sentence? He knowingly went and did things that would result in his death--pretty suicidal behaviour if you ask me! I'm not a New International Versionist who claims Jesus sinnned--are you?
O-kay.
Welcome to FR...looks like your gonna fit right in
Michael Schiavo was never a pawn in the end game. He was the instigator. George Felos was a part of the end game but he was never the puppet master. Michael Schiavo remained the puppet master.
On the other hand if anyone is familiar with the hit movie Chicago, I can visualise George Felos in the starring lawyer role. He is just like the tap dancer in that movie. He and his cronies managed to do a lot of tap dancing as they pulled the strings of the MSM.
Michael Schiavo used the euthanasia movement to arrange the killing of his wife. The euthanasia movement, represented by Felos, Greer, Cranford and others used Terri Schiavo as their ticket to fame and a new legal nightmare.

Yeah, you're right.
The ONLY indication Terri EVER said ANYTHING implying she'd not want to live on a resuscitator is Michael's OWN (unsubstantiated!) single comment years after her trials started.
AFTER Michael had spent all of her therapy money on a death-writer attorney who, like Micheal, desperately wanted her dead.
_______________________________________________________
This is an interesting comment, but not quite accurate. It went down in the following way. Prior to the settlement of the malpractice suit, MS did not know what Terri wanted. He told his former lover (Cindy) that he did not know what Terri wanted.
Michael was so in love with Terri, that he had lined up a lover within months of her collapse. He told that lover Terri was dying. When the lover ended the relationship he stalked her and almost ran her off the road. Then he had at least two other relationships including the one with his present concubine, Jodi Centonanze.
Michael's love for Terri was so great, that when his mother died, he named Jodi as his mate, and not his disabled wife.
I know what conclusions that I can make on this type of information.
Anyway, not only did Michael not know what Terri wanted, the only other people who supported his new found memory 10 plus years after Terri's collapse were HIS brother and sister in law. We have no proof at all that Terri ever made these statements. The evidence of the brother and sister in law only surfaced after the "evidence" of Michael was questioned and considered to be unreliable.
What gets me, happens to be that any judge could find that Schiavo's brother and sister in law gave clear and convincing evidence about what Terri had stated.
What is equally irksome is that the Judge (Greer) in the case made an error of fact and then ruled another witness as unreliable based upon HIS error, not her error. He then dismissed an appeal based upon HIS error, saying that it was not relevant.
Terri and her parents were set up by Michael Schiavo and his lawyers. Michael wanted Terri dead so that the truth would not come out about her collapse (more than likely there was an attempted strangulation). Michael's lawyers worked a swifty on the Schindlers.
