My wife reads maps better than I do, and I'm excellent at it.
I'm not so sure women are bad map readers; they're just let men think so.
To: gopwinsin04
Maps aren't the only thing they don't know the proper use of.

OK, folks, 'fess up. Regardless of your gender or orientation, if you're driving south, and need to consult a road map, do you have to turn the map upside down for it to make sense to you?
If so, you're an idiot. But I'm not convinced it has much to do with sexuality.

They investigated map reading by 20 homoesexual men, 20 heterosexual men, and 20 lesbains. They didn't think of including 20 heterosexual women?

I can read a map except when I get into Greenwich Village. I prefer to read the directions off Mapquest because I'm lazy.

Oh boy, now the gay lobby will claim this is an innate born trait.. No it's just an unexplainable inability to tell the difference between an exit and an entrance.

I get lost on directions all the time, finally got a compass on my new car.
To: gopwinsin04
I think these numbers must be a little skewed. I mean, are they comparing them to heterosexual men who NEVER look at a map, let alone follow or ask for directions? ;)

Wonder why they didnt test heterosexual women.....afraid they all would lose to them

The group memorised routes and was then asked to provide directions on how to get from one place to another."
