Churchill Art Piece Called Into Question
by CBS4 News reporter Raj Chohan
Feb 24, 2005 8:03 pm US/Mountain BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) Boulder County resident Duke Prentup has been a fan of native American art for as long as he can remember. That love of art took him to the home of Ward Churchill in the early 1980's, where Prentup bought several pieces of Churchill's art, including a serigraph titled "Winter Attack."
"I have enjoyed them ever since immensely, they're obviously up inside my house," Prentup said.
Last month came a stunning revelation, though, as as Prentup flipped through a 1972 book called The Mystic Warriors of the Plains written and illustrated by the late artist Thomas E. Mails. He found a sketch that was strikingly similar to the Churchill piece.

Great work Howlin.
Meek can you save this in your server. We know that it will disappear like other left wing bs when the truth hits the internet.
I suggest you get this tidbit to Rush, Hannity, Michelle Malkin, etc. This is too good not to share!
bump
It's that hair that made you think that, right?
He's not an Indian.
He's not a paratrooper.
Can't find his thesis.
His story about smallpox on the blankets was a lie.
He fakes pictures.
What have I forgotten?
***Geez, be fair! Churchill does not faked his proMarxism.
It would be fairly easy to sent the cropped and enlarged grouping to a few of the many Indian historians on the web, asking them if the people look familiar, without telling them why you want to know. It might even help to see it in black and white, most likely its original form:
There are a lot of old Indian photos, but there number is finite...and there are not so many of them that someone, somewhere hasn't seen them before...in a museum, a textbook, or elsewhere.
The morons have come home to roost.
Well, he IS a gen-u-ine professor at the University of Colorado........tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick........

Actually, let's be clear - an incident with smallpox-infected blankets given to indians in order to deliberately infect them IS true. However, it was the english that did it, not the United States army...
Gotta make sure that truth doesn't get screwed up because of Churchill's fraud.
:)
Ohh Lordy. Very good question.
WC. Water closet. Yup, I knew there was a strong connection between Ward Churchill and a urinal.
The guy that was subbing for Rush yesterday, Rosen, played an audio clip of Churchill. After a litany of "get the US out of...(VietNam, Indochina, etc.) he yelled at the crowd that the US should be gotten out of North America and off the planet.
I was physically sickened at his hateful vitriol. I mean sickened. This turd can't be flushed quickly enough IMO. He's a good argument for bringing back public punishments.

I wonder if Chief Lying Bulls--t has real teeth. Maybe those are false, too!
Looks familiar, but I can't place it.

He is a liberal, so no harm no foul.
Wow! Color errrrr Paint me impressed!
Quick, put it on Ebay and sell it for a few hundred.

[PaintShop Pro has a filter that converts a photo to watercolor or oil paint or sepia or any number of other formats. It can even 'type' on a 1970 typewriter and superscript it into a fool-proof document that any Kinko's can copy and fax to some fool.]
I can't tell you how hard I laughed at that last night; I know you know that "in the middle of the night FOFL" laugh.
The observation skills and wit of Freepers NEVER fail to amaze me.
