My good FRiend Dix is in the hospital again, with his third bout with cancer. And a broken leg in the mix last year.
He could use your prayers.
You can send him a message at the hospital here.
Address it to: Doug Dixson

I didn't personally know him, like you did. But when you said
"Dix, you ole sumbitch, I am gonna miss you like I don't even know what. All I ask is that you keep an eye on us from up there, 'cause you know how bad we need the supervision."
I'm sure he had a great sense of humor. He must be smiling now...with his friends. May he rest (and smile along) in eternal peace. (Thanks to others for the ping.)

Dix's sense of humor was up there with 'Gunner's and Laz's, to whom sad courtesy ping.
He was the kind of man with whom I'd trust my car, my dog, my house, my gun, and my kids if I had any. (But not my beer.)
Watching him light up the liberals was just poetry. He was a quick thinker and a smooth talker. (That's why he always had so many of us pretty girls around him in all the pictures.)

Rest in Peace. Prayers for his family and loved ones.
To: Xenalyte
We are much the poorer for the loss of him.
I am proud to have been his friend, men like Dix don't come along every day.
To: Lady Jag
Wow. That is really nice. Thanks. :)

Wow. That is really nice. Thanks. :)Thank you! That went together so easily that, almost speechless, all I can say is Dix must be with God and they made the graphic through my hands.

We are indeed poorer today, but our lives are so much the richer for having known him.

Was there supposed to be only one flag?

I think so. And it looks fine with both flags. :)

My condolences and may dix now truly rest in peace.
To: Eaker
So very sorry to hear this. Prayers for the family going up.
To: MeekOneGOP; Xenalyte
Sorry, I blurted. I wanted a graphic that would portray love of God and Country. Making the graphic felt weird as if I had help. It went together fast and looks great, and I told Meek that it felt like God and Dix made it, not me. Then I realized the flags might have represented God and Dix, so I blurted.

What program did you put it together with? I think it's gorgeous.

Paint Shop Pro, PSP 8. There is a 9 and I have it but haven't installed it yet. Are you familiar with PSP?

I've got PSP6 and it confuses the heck out of me, I hardly ever use it.
No instruction book came with it, it was an accidental install.
