I'm not encouraging massive illegal immigration, I'm stating that if America does not keep up in the population race we are going to lose are number one super-power status to China or India.

I think a damn good case can be made that, without the good ol' underpopulated USA, China and India would forever wallow in poverty, let alone ever aspire to superpower status.

I also thought it beyond debate that the secret of the US's success is our system of government, the apogee of western liberalism (the traditional kind), based as it is in faith in the Almighty.

Hmmmm, SLSIALSs and MMIALs. Sort of a sub-species kind of classification scheme. Certainly worth considering.

Illegals who jump the border, demand cash and be not on the books, don't want to be here legally and don't want to pay taxes. As long as employers will pay these people off the books, and avoid payroll taxes etc, there will be a demand for them.

SOILs. I like it much better than SOIALs. Has a better sound-recognition-pronunciation factor going for it. Good enough. Lets give the others a chance to see if your SOILs can be bested. I also like skeeter's sub-species classification suggestion, which would also mesh with your SOILs.

Since the authors aren't distiguishing between legal and illegal immigration, it will be interesting to see all of the comments.

Yet, NewsMax felt the need to add the word "illegal" to the title.

It is a supply and demand thing. If the demand for labor remains constant but you increase the supply by adding lots of illegals then the price (wage) falls.

And that's the problem, you assume demand stays constant. More labor allows the economy to grow thus creating more demand for labor.

And that has what to do with this report? The report does not distinguish between illegal and illegal immigration.

As usual.

No source to back up your claim.
Bearing false witness is a sin. Name calling is just tacky and immature.

All true, it is also true that part of our success is due to our long history of encouraging and supporting immigration. Huddled masses and etc.

"Your tactics are tiresome, Miss Kelly."
then don't bother me with your inane comments

And for the 501st time since you apparently don't already know me but I have the wrong plumbing to be a "Miss", if you check out my tagline you'll see that I was in the 5th Marines and FYI there are no "Misses" in the 5th Marines. LMAO
but then you probably wouldn't know that either now would you...

I don't assume it, I look at the facts and I know it. If I was wrong, wages would be rising rather than falling.

Could've fooled me; you do a fair imitation of my hysterical (literally) psycho-case ex-girlfriend.

A nice poem, but an irrational immigration policy.

Likewise, just because it was good policy in the past doesn't mean it will be good policy forever. There was a time we had a continent to populate - a frontier to conquer and an industrial revolution to manage.

Now, prosperity is the result of increased efficiency, not increased population.

You posted your "facts" to me unsolicited, genius.
As for the "Miss" comment...sorry.
