Went to agency of International Development first...they are working with military...president's device for foundation to keep freedoms and improve country..
taliban hated roads because ideas traveled on roads...
Meeting with Kharzai postponed till Friday, fine with Rush since he'll have seen the country by then.
Everyone eager to talk to Rush to tell him what's happening.
Dinner with 100 military people a few times.

Hedgecock asks about Rush's schedule, how much of the country he's going to be able to see. Rush says "All of it". He just got into the country 5 hours ago.
He's meeting with Karzai on Friday. He met with the Ambassador already. Now he's back in the Kabhul compound. He's had 3 different meetings with the American military and has had an hour and a half briefing with the chain of command.
I don't know what's going on with him. I'm not confident McCain knows what's going on.
