To the guy who said Muslims congregated in D.C. to committ terrorism. That makes no sense. Sure, the terrorists may do that but everyone knows that only a small fraction of 1.2 billion Muslims are terrorists. How many have been arrested on terrorism in that area? 5? 6? Out of tens of thousands? Most of them are there for the same reason there are other immigrants there and immigrants tend to congregate near urban areas.

Its the stubborn, unrelenting silence from that 1.2 billion in the face of Beslan, 9-11, Madrid, Bali and and a whole host of atrocities in the name of Allah, that turns normal, reasonable people to conclude they are all suspect until proven otherwise. Whining to the contrary by the likes of the MSM and Ibrahim Hooper does nothing to to counter this view of Islam and its followers..

Before Sept. 11th, and shortly after, I worked with a Muslim who was (and probably still is) one of the nicest people I've ever met.

What the hades is that about? Why aren't there 100 new detainees being held and 'questioned' in undisclosed locations?

I fully oppose the measures of the Patriot Act that tend toward eroding civil liberties for Americans, but when 100 folks, probably with funny names and adherents of a Middle Eastern death cult, show up in court and laugh at the charge of conspiracy to assassinate the president, I become more sympathetic toward the notion of extending the courtesy of vigorous interrogation to certain people (namely the 100 laughing supporters of Ahmed Omar Abu Ali).
