Larry Schweikart, AKA freeper "LS," was on the Laura Ingraham show this morning, discussing his book "A Patriot's History of the United States." In the hours since the show, Patriot's History has rocketed on Amazon from a ranking in the middle hundreds, to number 36! This may be the best selling book by any freeper, ever! Congratulations Larry!
Next stop, Rush Limbaugh's March newsletter, and and the top ten!
As for your other questions, I can't give away everything, can I? : )
And even though you didn't ask, I also discuss the variety show and the Saturday morning cartoon. : )
I'll give you the model airplanes and the volcano. But did he really build the dunk tank, or wasnt it built by the family, some or all pitching in? Didnt he also have help with the go karts from at least Greg?
As far as I can recall they put out only two episodes of the Variety show on DVD (I bought a copy). How did you manage to see all of them and how can I get the rest of the episodes?
Yes, the dunk tank was a family endeavour. Regarding the go-karts, Peter built one entirely by himself in "The Undergrdauate" (season 2) as well as "My Brother's Keeper" (season 5), but, he Greg and Bobby did build a third one together in "Love and The Older Man" (season 4).
All this, but he can't fix a freakin' bike?
I think he can. Maybe he was just a little too over anxious at his new job.
Bump to all FRauthors!
I'll check it out. I don't want to keep you from your labours, but it's good to hear from you.
Looks like once again, realworld events may be catching up with your plot....
I remember reading Alan Wolfe's scathing indictment of American Studies programs-as taught on most of our nation's college campuses-with a great deal of sadness, several years ago on frontpagemag.com.
While my own personal experience was not quite as dramatic as the situation depicted by Mr. Wolfe-yes, a majority of my American Studies professors would probably fall under the rubric of "leftist academic", but I don't believe any of them were unpatriotic-I was disappointed by the lack of ideological variety in this academic field.
It's heartening to realize that there are still some very good scholars in this field, and in the much broader academic discipline of American history.
Continued luck with the book, guys!
-good times, G.J.P.(Jr.)

A Patriot's History of the United States:
From Columbus's Great Discovery
to the War on Terror
by Larry Schweikart
with Michael Patrick AllenHow to Beat the Democrats
and Other Subversive Ideas
by David HorowitzMichael Moore Is A
Big Fat Stupid White Man
by David T. Hardy
and Jason Clarke
It contains some very poignant critiques of Michael S'Moore's pathetic curriculum vitae as a putative documentarian.
I'd especially recommend the book for any leftist friends, who would discover that there are some very odd bedfellows united within the camp opposed to Moore's seemingly implacable parade of cinematic deception.
Thanks Travis..bump and will read the amazon link later.
Good enough for me. thx
Thanks for posting. Congratulations Larry!
