Yeah, it's funny how these ghouls come out just to tell you how they don't care
It sure is funny alright...if you're a liberal. Thompson was a doctrinaire leftist who only veered from the predictable liberal line on the sole issue of guns.
You need to stow that "ghouls" nonsense--it's uncalled for.

We liked his work. People mourn the death of those they've never met all the time.

I'm not "trolling" anything, cowboy. Just offering my opinion on a conservative forum about a doctrinaire leftist who spent years slandering everything we stand for--if anyone's "trolling" here, genius, it's certainly not me.

Ok, now how about the jovial part?

Men like to make a splash. They tend to be more violent, and like the shock value of an exploded head. Women don't like to mess up their bodies, so they tend to do things that will not mess up their appearance. It's not universal of course.
I did know of a guy who tried to blow his head off with a shotgun after a fight with his girlfriend, but the gun was too long to get in his mouth and pull the trigger, so he just ended up shooting off the end of his nose and his upper lip. Man, if he thought he had trouble with girls before...
I've personally known four guys who committed suicide, no girls. Three of the guys shot themselves (two head shots, one chest with a shotgun), one used CO from a car in a garage.

(It was a joke. You know, humor. Like the funny kind. Only different.)

Yes, I have. It was "funny" largely at the expense of Republicans in general and conservatives in particular. Cry your river of tears over this deluded leftist to someone else...I'm not all that interested.

I think your response is just right. He was too full of hate. And it isn't funny.
To: A Jovial Cad
'Fraid not. "Ghoul" was perfect.

I'll never think of Baton twirling at 'ole Miss any other way but Thompson's.

Heh, they always say that as they post, and post, and post to the thread. Its easy to click out and not come back in for the uninterested.
To: A Jovial Cad
Sometimes laughing at yourself is OK. Healthy even. :-) Your jovial credentials are in question!

Get lost, and take your weepy sanctimony for the dear departed leftist who's happened to tickle your past fancy with you.
How about if those "not interested" leave the threads they are "not interested" in. Thats the more logical way to go I think.
To: Arkinsaw
He's just another in the seemingly endless legion of trolls. Best ignored.

'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' is one of the very few books I ever read that had me laughing out loud.
Thompson was apparently a troubled soul. May he rest in peace.
