Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton Says the Iraq Insurgency Is Failing (She's Running for Something..)
Star Tribune/ Associated Press ^ | 2.19.05

Posted on 02/19/2005 2:30:39 PM PST by gopwinsin04

US Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton said today in Baghdad that a string of attacks killing more than 50 Iraqis in two days were failed attempts to sow sectarian strife and destablize the country.

Clinton and Sen. John McCain were part of a 5 member congressional delegation that met with US officials and members of Iraq's interim government.

Both Senators Clinton and McCain have historically been strident critics of the Pentagon's planning and management of the war in Iraq. But Clinton said Saturday that the Sunni Muslim insurgents were failing in their efforts to destabilize Iraq through sectarian violence.

Her comments came as numerous insurgent attacks across Iraq killed dozens of people as Shiite Muslim worshippers celebrated their holiest day of the year.

Clinton said insurgents had failed to disrupt Iraq's landmark January 30 elections, won by the Shiite clergy backed ticket.

'Not one polling place was shut down or overrun. The results of this election are a strong rebuke to those who did not believe that the Iraqi people would take this opportunity to demonstrate their own committment to their own future.'

"..Clinton and Sen. John McCain..."

McCain has sold his soul again, once in safe keeping with the $Heinz-Kerrys$, now to the Clintons.

If McCain had an ounce of integrity he would have refuted Kerry long ago and forever for Kerry's aiding and abetting the Viet Cong by testifying before Congress, and the world, that American military forces committed "atrocities" (war crimes) everyday in Viet Nam.

Kerry's "atrocity confessions" certainly let cowards in Congress off the hook. Kerry became a "war hero" celebrated by Communist Viet Nam and by communists throughout the world. Undoubtedly, Kerry stills holds that celebrated status among communists in France and by communists throughout the world...probably the same foreign dignitaries Kerry says confided in him.

[a Hillary nomination is way overrated. She is deeply unpopular with the core of the Democratic Party, she's regularly thrashed over at the Dem blogs and any polls favorable to her so far are only a reflection of name recognition]

Your analysis is right on. Hillary has no chance with the far left so she is trying to position herself as a moderate. An interesting strategy, to say the least.

Exactly, that is one of the few talents she has, figuring out what the (present) majority wants to here--and saying it. There is no "brilliance"!

"Was Hillary appointed Ambassador of the United States!!!!??"

Hillary Clinton was self-appointing in a second's breath after she became first lady. At taxpayers expense, for eight years first lady Hillary travelled extensively to set-down political support and recognition for herself (not Bill) in foreign countries. Do you wonder why one of Hillary's first offenses (abuses of and/or presumption of power) committed when she entered the WH was to falsely accuse and fire the WH travel agency employees? The media suppressed the congressional hearing on that issue. CSPAN covered it. The WH travel agency employees were found innocent. Needless to say, false witnessing is a sin and it seems the wages of sin were paid by Vince Foster.

That's why I donate to Judicial Watch.

I sure hope they can do something to
trip her, especially with the Peter Paul
Campaign Fraud Case!

She is like a Mafia Don! - anyone who crosses her pays the price.

Thank goodness so many of us
SEE her for the evil she is.

Amin Al Husseini seen inspecting his Hanzar Division made up exclusively of Muslims, mostly from the Crotia/Bosnia/Serbia region. They actively lead the genocide against Serbs, Serbian Jews and Gypsies.

Amin Al Husseini meets with Adolf Hitler in November 1942, weeks before the decision to implement the Final Solution which sent Europe's Jews to the gas chamber. The Third Reich provided Amin Al Husseini with a salary and appointed him Head of the Hanzar SS Division. The Hanzar Division was made of Nazi Muslims and implemented the genocide of 250,000 Serbs, Gypsies and Jews during WWII.

Amin Al Husseini shown here on a Nazi poster recruiting fellow Muslims to join Hitler in the fight against the West and the Jews. His disciples today include Yasser Arafat, Saddam Hussein and the leaders of Hamas, Al Qeida and Islamic Jihad.

Amin Al Husseini, future President of the World Islamic Congress (1961) and founding father of the Arab League (1944) inspects his Muslim Nazi troops, the Hanzar Division. Amin Al Husseini making the traditional nazi salute.

Yasser Arafat became a disciple of Amin Al Husseini since the age of 17. Here: recent picture of Palestinian soldiers under the leadership of Arafat making the traditional Nazi salute.

WWII . Amin Al Husseini spent most of the war in Berlin. He was on Hitler's payroll as he lead the Hanzar Division of Muslim SS and played a lead-role in determining the fate of Europe's Jewish community.. From Berlin, Amin Al Husseini helped organize the transfer of Nazi officers into the Middle East

Hilary says the "Insurgency is failing........."

You can bet the FARM that if any Republican said this it would be FRAMED with the STORIES of the 100+ dead Iraqis on page ONE above the FOLD. The headline something like this:

Rebpublican [insert name here] loses grip with reality claims INSURGENCY IS FAILING as more than 100 IRAQIS are killed. 8 Suicide Bombers wreak HAVOC and DESTRUCTION in Baghdad. No end in sight to the SLAUGHTER of innocents!!"

"That's why I donate to Judicial Watch.'

Judicial Watch counter-balances ACLU.

"She is like a Mafia Don! - anyone who crosses her pays the price...Thank goodness so many of us SEE her for the evil she is."

I not only see Hillary for what she is, she reeks of it, and I can smell from here.

"Mafia Don" well describes Hillary. What worries me is that her supporters who don't fall for her pandering crap like her because she panders so well. What WE despise, many of her supporters admire. Scary!

"Your analysis is right on. Hillary has no chance with the far left so she is trying to position herself as a moderate. An interesting strategy, to say the least."

I've assumed Hillary takes for granted support from far left and radical centric groups (fems, gays, abortion worshippers, etc). She is repositioning herself to pander to the "moderates." I don't believe GLAAD and NOW, the NEA, One World Government socialists, et al, will forsake Hillary. She has wooed them for a long time.

"She is like a Mafia Don!"

Yeah, like this excerpt from www.newsmax.com seems to confirm:

Hillary: Let Ex-felons Vote

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, a possible White House candidate in 2008, joined 2004 nominee John Kerry and other Democrats Thursday in urging that Election Day be made a federal holiday to encourage voting.

She also pushed for legislation that would allow all ex-felons to vote.
