Hillary Clinton to visit Iraq AFP: 2/18/2005 BAGHDAD, Feb 18 (AFP) - US senator Hillary Clinton, wife of former president Bill Clinton, is expected in Baghdad on Saturday, a source at the US embassy said on Friday.
The source said the five-member delegation would hold talks with Iraqi government officials and members of the national assembly, whose makeup was confirmed Thursday by the electoral commission.
Heading the US delegation is John McCain, the Republican senator for Arizona and one-time rival of US President George W. Bush. McCain has been critical of the US administration's policies in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion.
The delegation also includes senators Russel Feingold, Susan Collins and Lindsey Graham.

"Do these democrats think they are the representative government of the USA?"
No kidding! I am SICK TO DEATH of them! Between Kerry and now this bs, I'm ready to blow, LOL!
Do they not see how transparent they are? Who is orchestrating this cr@p? It can't be Dean...he's not that smart! It's got to be the Hillary '08 Election Team.
It's just so bogus...I can't begin to describe it! And it ticks me off that the Republicans are letting them steal even one tiny spark of our thunder!
Well, there's always hope for her to become a hostage. I find it hard to believe they can find any Marines willing to throw themselves on a grenade for those hosers! (Yes, I know; Marines would do their jobs, no matter what, no matter who.)
Our tax dollars at work. Grrrrr!!
well I don't know how to plan these trips......plus with that reasoning, then I would have to hate Pres Bush 41 cause he is in Indonesia with Clinton.....I just am not as reactionary as many here.....sometimes I'm proved wrong but I'd rather be like Karl Rove.....don't overreact, watch, think strategically and plan.....I just think McCain is more good than bad but of course I know that many here dislike him intensely....he still votes 80% with the Repubs.....I'm not a McCain supporter but I certainly don't hate the man.........there are enough Dems around to fulfill my "hate" meter.......life is too short
"Will Hitllary wear a burqa?"
We can only hope.

It reminded me of the signals caught in the photograph when our naval vessel was captured illegally by North Korea and they released their propaganda photo and unknowingly told the world what we knew all along . .
Works either way (if you assume it is a quote by the Senator).
Luv that photo of Hellary...
It's the Hawaiian good luck sign!
ROTFL!! Thanks for my new desktop wallpaper.
Thanks so much for the report, dk. I was getting ready for a meeting and missed the exchange to which you refer. There is a reason why some see McCain as a loose cannon. The whole bunch are just over there as part of their respective campaigns for the presidency but given the "save" by Graham I'm giving him a pass on this one. Hillary! sounded like such a complete fool I found myself muttering that this woman will never be president. I would love to see the transcript.
Now there's a car bomb target. Them Muslim wackos respect blowhards less than anything else.
Thanks. :^D
Thanks for bringing my attention to this...I missed the press conference. I'm happy to see that Graham stepped up but in some ways it seems his style. He seems to associate himself with the opinion that provides the best political opportunity (which, so far, looks to be to make a national name for himself).
They can stay there too. Pull their documents and throw them out.
Evidently Kennedy had been out there slashing and burning Chertoff and the administration.
Collins, the last to speak before the vote, really smacked Teddy down in no uncertain terms.
While not repeating his hate speech, she said she disagreed with every one of his criticisms of Chertoff, the committee and the administration.
I could not have asked for a better representative. It was extremely well delivered and all the more important considering it was Collins.
LOL! nice fly picture!
Thank's
