GEFFEN UNLOADS ON HILLARY: 'SHE CAN'T WIN'

Friends no more? I hope Sen. Hillary Clinton isn't counting on help from Hollywood mogul David Geffen in her possible run for the White House in 2008. Geffen, a generous supporter and pal of Bill Clinton when he was President, trashed Hillary's prospects last night during a Q&A at the 92nd St. Y. "She can't win, and she's an incredibly polarizing figure," the billionaire Democrat told his audience. "And ambition is just not a good enough reason." Geffen's dis was met with hearty applause.

I've been saying it for 4 years - the only people you hear crowing about her running for Prez are self-styled conservatives. Boortz, Hannity, Dickie Morris, etc. You can't show me a statement from a leading Dim saying they want her to be Prez. Now, you have a big moneyman like Geffen saying no way.
She will not be the nominee. Not now. Not ever.

Also...will her so-called move to the center get her in trouble with NY voters? Any move to the right by Hillary! is accompanied by a wink and a nod to her lefty base.

Yeah. Shhhhh. Someone needs to get Geffen to ixnA on the illeryhA alktA. She can't possibly win, but nothing would be more enjoyable than watching her run. She gets so enraged at times - if you give her enough rope during a campaign she'll hang herself!

She will not be the nominee. Not now. Not ever. Oh, yes...she...will...
You can count on it. As long as this woman draws a breath she will covet the presidency. And she sees her best opportunity in '08.

I don't know how much "sway" Geffen carries, but he carries plenty of "swish".

More importantly, he carries plenty of cash.

A friendly wager? Well, I'm not a betting man, but I would be interested in receiving a small gift when Hillary! officially enters the race...

That's not what I said. I said she will not be the
nominee. If she is, I'll make a $20 donation to FR in your name, if you'll do the same in my name when she does NOT get the nomination.

Another thing people forget is that Bill Clinton may be on his last legs....
When he goes, her hopes end.

No offense here. I just thought I'd correct the misperception that Geffen was speaking at a YWCA. Geffen is Jewish, and from a working-class family in Brooklyn, so the Jewish Y in NYC is a natural place for him to be speaking, and to be listened to seriously.
To: David Noles
Mr. Geffen should hire a bodyguard if he dosen't already have one.
He should also pay a visit to the local district attorney and sign the following affadavit:
"If I die and the coroner claims I killed myself they are lying. Arrest Hillary!"

I was just thinking the other day that Mr. Bill has been uncharacteristically quiet and out of the news.
What gives? I did notice the last couple of times he was in the news he looked extremely gaunt and his color was not good, but do you know something I don't know?
