I was just thinking the other day that Mr. Bill has been uncharacteristically quiet and out of the news.

What gives? I did notice the last couple of times he was in the news he looked extremely gaunt and his color was not good, but do you know something I don't know?

Quadruple bypass surgery. Condition worse than expected. Longer recovery time than expected.

A friend of mine passed away last May at 71. He had the same operation. Doctors told him it would hold for 10 years. He went nearly 16 years. His initial recovery was much better than Bill's.

The question is how efficient is Bill's heart working? My friend's was down to 30% when he passed away. After his operation it was never above 70%. I don't think Bill's is that good.

Any Doctor's out there? Visual diagnoisis?

He was in Key West recently. An article posted last week on the Little Rock double wide says he sleeps over in his penthouse playroom there once a month. His opinion on the Iraq election was sought out and worshipfully recorded by the NYT. Seems to have been conspicuously absent at Davos...but I wouldn't worry about the schlickmeister's health. Surely he is in his lair hatching plots.
