My seventh grader is doing a science fair project involving "handedness". She needs a larger sample for her data. If you would like to help, please do the following: clasp your hands together with your fingers intertwined. Report which thumb is on top and if you are right or left handed. Thanks for your help! Standing outside the grocery store didn't work, even with tootsie rolls as a thank you. People were too afraid we were selling something!
Left Handed - Right thumb on top
R H; R T O T
Right handed, left thumb on top.
Right handed, left thumb on top.
Right-handed--Left thumb on top.
Good luck--I'm a veteran of many science fair projects.
Left thumb on top...right handed to wright, though I catch with my left hand and open jars with my left hand eat with either.
The question you need to ask though, is how each respondant's parent does it, too.
This a hereditary trait!
Right handed--right thumb.
Now, I want to know the stats result of the two-tailed distribution and the hypothesis testing with a 95% confidence interval.
You deserve a tootsie roll for that!
I have shown him five times now...L OL. I am one of those people who gets two "types" for a personality test of management skills test. I know.. I know.. flame away. (I am a loser...)
Left thumb over right. I'm left-handed.
Hmmm ok, right thumb on top - I'm right-handed.
Right handed....left thumb on top
I'm sure that someone's gonna call me a RINO for that.
'''Thumbalina dance...
Thumbalina sing...
Oh, Thumbalina does it matter if you're very small?
'Cause when your heart is full of love
you're nine feet tall!!"
...that's how I remember the words....help
...for science...I am right-handed...left thumb over.
I'm RH, left thumb was on top.
Wife is LH, and her right thumb was on top.
We cancel each other out again, I guess.
I never really noticed that mine was - then when I was in high school, I remember taking off my shoes and socks somewhere, and a girl I was with said (loudly) "Oh my God, it's huge!". (I started feeling a little pride, until I found out she was referring to my 2nd toe...)
Of course, I came back with a "well, you know what THAT means, don't you...". :-)
Left thumb on top. Weirdly ambidexterous. Do some things well with the right, other things well with the left.
Left thumb on top... right handed.
