Goss fears WMD attack in U.S. 'a matter of time'
By Bill Gertz THE WASHINGTON TIMES
Senior U.S. intelligence leaders told Congress yesterday that "it may only be a matter of time" before terrorists try to use weapons of mass destruction against the United States. In his first public appearance since becoming CIA director in September, Porter J. Goss used the annual worldwide threat hearing to issue the prediction, while another federal official said the FBI knows little about al Qaeda sleeper cells such as the September 11 terrorists. "It may be only a matter of time before al Qaeda or another group attempts to use chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons," Mr. Goss told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III testified that he is "very concerned" about the lack of data on a network of al Qaeda "sleeper" cells in the United States.

I don't watch msnbc very often, but I hear he's their terror consultant. So he's on that channel almost exclusively, it sounds like.
Yes, he has done us all a great favor! He's one of the great heroes of this country, I believe.

Not sure why I pulled away from MSNBC but I am now hooked on Fox. I heard too, that Steve works for MSNBC.

most, in fact, aren't fooled by all that crap, even if they won't admit it<<<
Bingo! I see that we agree even if our views are stated somewhat differently.

Feds Worry Over Al-Qaeda Use of Mexican Border
"New intelligence information strongly suggests that Al Qaeda has considered infiltrating the United States through the Mexican border, top government officials told Congress on Wednesday,"
according to the AP. "In his written testimony, Admiral Loy cited recent information from investigations and detentions as the basis for his concern about the Mexican border. He added, "Several Al Qaeda leaders believe operatives can pay their way into the country through Mexico and also believe illegal entry is more advantageous than legal entry for operational security reasons."

When a major incident occurs, the sale of guns and ammo will be banned to forestall an all out religious war<<
I've heard the PC speak "this is not about religion" from several major politicians, including Dubya.
I wonder if they are trying to prevent what they KNOW is happening by trying to brainwash Americans into thinking that we're wrong about this. If so, they are doing this Nation a Grave mis-service.
Locked and Loaded.

If so, they are doing this Nation a Grave mis-service.I love President Bush with all my heart, but I have that right to disagree with him, like I did with my father from time-to-time.
But I do disagree with the policy's America has taken on concerning our borders. (Or lack of policies). Some say the President needs to keep the Mexican border open to keep our relationship for that head of Mexico (forgive me, I never can remember their names OR spell them).
Personally, I think it's too late to close the borders now. And personally, I believe the government could care less what we think about our open borders. :(

The border thing is a major disagreement with me and many Americans. Sheer logic dictates you do not leave your borders go unchecked and let the enemy come within.

When a major incident occurs, the sale of guns and ammo will be banned to forestall THE AMERICAN RESPONSE TO an all out religious war that Satan's Throat Slitters of Peace have already declared on us!
I swear, human civilization had better wake up soon and get as serious about its survival as the seventh-century savages are about our annihilation!

"I've heard the PC speak "this is not about religion" from several major politicians, including Dubya." Actually, I don't think this is a war between religions, either. I don't consider Islam a religion. It's evil to it's very core.
This is a war between religion and evil, and I haven't seen anything from the Muslim community to convince me otherwise.

"Build a huge trench with barbed wire along the top and make sure it's patrolled," After all the rhetoric on different threads about this, FD, I've come to believe that's the only way to go.
The cost of anything we build would be negligible compared to what we're paying now and what we'll pay when the attack comes.
If your home is filling up with water, the first thing to do is stop the water, then you can concentrate on the damage done.
So far we've done neither one.

How quickly people forget the anger following the attack of 9-11, but there was confusion, too. We didn't know for a day or two who to blame.
It won't be that way after the next attack. We know who our enemies are.
It will only take a few mosques blown up for our federal government to declare martial law across the land.
At that point, it will be too late to get prepared to defend your home and family.
When guns are outlawed, we all know who will have guns (and throat slitters).

I agree, that we fight on every front. But, my point was that organizations like the ACLU. ably aided by the judiciary are undermining our effort. To merely fight is not enough for our survival, we must WIN. The ACLU is adversial to that result.
