Full disclosure: Took a while, but yes, I finally 'get' his humor, and listen when I get a chance. Just curious what others think who heard the bit.

Simple!
If you're a guy: it's funny.
If you're a girl: he should burn.
Thank you for letting me solve at least ONE mystery today!

This is a joke.
joke

- Something said or done to evoke laughter or amusement, especially an amusing story with a punch line.
- A mischievous trick; a prank.
- An amusing or ludicrous incident or situation.
- Informal.
- Something not to be taken seriously; a triviality: The accident was no joke.
- An object of amusement or laughter; a laughingstock: His loud tie was the joke of the office.

The deceipt will be revealed and the couple will have a good laugh at the man's inability to remember "important things" like Valentine's Day.

As a woman, I think I'd have a sense of humor about this one. Good grief what has upset everyone?

I love Glenn but not crazy about his stunt. Just heard a couple but really felt bad for that pregnant lady and hope her hubby owns up to the truth.

I'm a girl and I thought it was pretty funny. Of course my husband doesn't forget Valentine's Day either. :)

Was definitely funny, and yes there is a circle in Hell for people like him.
In his defense, there were more than enough clues in the form letter so any woman with an ounce of reasoning (eh... never mind...) would see thru it in a second.

If Glen Beck calls you.. watch out!! I will never forget the GWB "gloat fest" on Nov 3, 2004. It was great! Then we found out about Eliz. Edwards breast cancer and gloating was in bad taste.
To: Diddle E. Squat
Well, the guys were idiots for screwing up in the first place. Then, they sink to calling a radio show for help...
The woman is stupid for being with an insensitive jerk.
FUNNY. NO MERCY

I usually like his program, but this one left me cold. If my husband had forgotten Valentine's Day, I sure wouldn't have appreciated being on the air in front of a multitude of listeners for a "joke". It just adds insult to injury for the wives and makes the husbands look like bigger jerks. As a listener, I found it more irritating than funny.

I listen to Beck almost everyday. This is what Glenn does.
I didn't care for the show that day because it was just fluff, but there was nothing wrong with the joke. People need to lighten up.

My Glenn Beck experience. Found him silly and grating to the point I couldn't listen. Got used to him and started listening more. Competitor station put Laura Ingram on opposite and now I again can't tolerate Beck's silliness. He did a good thing supporting the troops last year but his show is sort of a G rated Howard Stern.

I do agree he has become more fluff than substance. I did enjoy following his journey in adopting his child last year tho...
Hmmmm...a "G" rated Howard Stern? Well I have never listened to Stern, but I figure since my teenagers don't mind listening to Beck, it at least has a little positive influence.

Didn't hear this bit, but I recently found Glen on the radio and think that he is HILARIOUS!
He had a good day today. I love his bit where he calls convenient stores. I think he calls it More-On Olympics.
