Large blast heard near City of Dailam. Iran TV says fired from unknown aircraft.
No other details.
Were getting like 5 different reports as usual...we need to wait at least an hour or so before News starts to get it straight.
Very unlike the Bush administration to tip it's hand. They would never send a message by showing the enemy they know more than the enemy suspected.
I apologize for not reading the thread but MSNBC is reporting that it probably was a fuel tank from and Iranian plane. Don't know what their source was.
I was close with my gas can blowing up guess..LOL
They tend to fly attack profiles.
What was an Iranian plane doing flying. Are they expecting a War?
This is a VERY big News week.
On Fox right now.....REUTERS: Iran Stands By Syria...Wonderful
Might be a possibility. From a CNN report:
"The Iranian air force was ordered in December to shoot down any unknown or suspicious flying objects in Iran's airspace, AP reported. At the time, there were reports in Iranian newspapers that spying devices had been found in a pilotless planes that had been shot down."
Oops
That would be from Iranian state-run TV, which has had more versions of the story than C-BS.
Tell it to the Mullahs. Maybe it was an accident they blew out of all proportion into a supposed attack on them, because they are paranoid. All I said was I would not assume this was an attack by us or Israel, just on Iran's word. I come nearer believing they were faking it than I would believing they were being attacked, just on their word and the description of the incident.
Maybe someone stole the override ;)
Now that's just nonsense. It's obviously that spy satellite the Russians lost a day or two ago...
Any confirmation on how close this *explosion* was to the nuke plant?.....just wandering if there could be a nuke accident that they are CYA...
Figures.
OK you guys, who's been playing with the override device again?
To inspire wavering Iranian nationalism, like 9/11 did with us. Also it would give them an excuse to stonewall talks on nuke disarmament, distracting with accusations.
Nothing other than those sourced from Iranian state-run media.
a "powerful explosion" I think would not be merely a fuel tank.
I just hope that Iran has not shot down an alien spacecraft. The last thing we need is for Iran to get a hold of that technology.
It is, but they have drop tanks that they use before they actually get into a fight.
