Holland: Hindu temple under attack by Muslims
Cid Martel of Dutchdisease.com has kindly sent over this translation of a Dutch-language article.
Why is it permissible in the Dutch press to say "Hindu" but not "Muslim," so that we get a story about a "Hindu" temple attacked by "Moroccan" youth? Are we supposed to believe that Moroccans as such have some animus toward Hindus? Are we to assume that this is fallout from some border dispute between Morocco and India? (You didn't know they shared a border? Of course they do. It runs just southwest of Poland China, the famous hog-breeding nation.)
A Hindu temple in The Hague, the Ram Mandir, is frequently being attacked by a group of Moroccan youth. Young Hindus are so fed up with the situation they want to take matters into their own hands. Morrocans shove dog faeces through the mailbox and have broken into the temple twice, stolen a statue, urinated inside and stolen money from the moneybox. Mister S. Ramdhani, a Hindu priest, says: “They spit, don’t let visitors pass through, robbed two elderly ladies and then threatened them not to press charges. Our secretary was attacked with a stick.”
Ramdhani doesn’t want young Hindus and Moroccans to clash. “If groups start fighting each other we get a very bad situation. We can’t have that here in Holland.” Ramdhani is very embittered about the case. Last year he was given a ribbon by the queen for his contribution to the integration of foreigners in the neighbourhood. Every year thousands of students from The Hague come to the temple to learn more about the Hindu faith; it’s also a haven for troubled teens. Since 9/11 Ramdhani has been trying to reach out to Christians and Muslims.
The trouble caused by Moroccan youth has made a dent in Ramdhani’s idealism. He’s thinking about no longer attending the 9/11 meetings. “I feel discriminated against. Why they have to choose our temple? There is a mosque nearby. Why don’t they go over there to cause trouble? They must hate the Hindu faith. Otherwise I don’t know.”
Rabin Baldewsingh, a member of the city council for the social-democrats, asked mayor Deetman for help. The police says it’s ‘on the agenda’.

Which Crusades? The Christian Crusades to stop the Muhammadan's from slaughtering their way into Europe may be over, but the Muhammadan crusades have never stopped, they were just slowed. The Muslim crusades have been continuing on quite openly for the last few decades now, except our backward media keeps calling them everything except what they really are.

Immigration through employment (or: permanent employment opportunity), in short, you need a job. I'll take almost (I said almost) anything, but where to search?

With whom do Muslims have cordial ties on a universal basis???They slaughter Christians in Sudan & the Caucusus,Hindus in India,Pakistan & Bangladesh-even the poor communists can't be left out given the state of Afghanistan's comrades & the former Yugoslavia!!!Really can't blame the ordinary muslim for this-his religion advocates treachery to meet their ends.

we don't, we don't elect mayors around here, they are appointed by the queen (who is also a notorious Islam apologist). Then you would say, change the system, easier said than done, the regents have closed off many an avenue here.
I would suggest a bloody good revolution is in order. I would use the American experience as a guide. About one-third are for the Royals and the status quo. About a third would like to clean up the land. About a third don't care. In America, the Royalists and their lackeys got their asses kicked. In fact, the Revolutionaries mostly fought professional British soldiers. Unless the Queen hires mercenaries, it should be over in a week.

As for political refugees from Europe, we have a lot of them in the U.S. already. My cab driver two months back was a Norwegian. I asked him what he thought about the elections and he launched into a monologue in absolute support of President Bush, America, and the Republican Party.
He called himself, a "refugee" from Europe.
I can understand Pakistani,Bangladeshi or even Indian Muslim holding a grudge against Hindus. I can understand Islamic terrorist attacking temples in India. I can understand Sudanese Muslims holding a grudge against Sudanese Christians or even Chechenian Muslim holding a grudge against Russians......for whatever reasons. But Morrocan Muslim having a grudge against Hindus. I dont suppose there are many Hindus in Morroco (docs or Computers Engineers taking away local jobs). So what problem do they have with us?
Simple-the main point is jealousy as the Yindoos tend to mind their own business & seek to get through college & get a good job.That's not the same with most North African Muslim immigrants in Europe who record very high crimerates.Add to this the usual mix of being Kafirs & Hindus killing Muslims & Hindus allying with Jews & you have a pretty decent motive.

According to the tolerant Islam, "people of the book" (Christians and Jews) are to be tolerated on some conditions. Others (like Hindu and other pagans or atheists) have choice between death or conversion.

On top of that, Muslims consider Hindus "idolators," worse than Christians and Jews. Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians are considered "People of the Book" and have a few rights under Islam. "Idolatrous" Hindus and Buddhists have none. Muslim hatred of non-Muslims seems to be innate.
Funny thing is that there is less "radical" (relatively-speaking) Islam in Morocco than in most other Muslim countries. Plus, the Berbers of North Africa (who make up about half of the population of Morocco) are adamantly opposed to Islamic fundamentalism because they, correctly, associate it with Arabization and are staunchly opposed to that! Berbers dislike Arabs.

William -- it looks from here in some ways as if the Dutch are fighting back. Isn't there some momentum from the Fortuyn and Van Gogh murders to activate Dutch Conservatives? I have always enjoyed my visits to your country -- I thought Den Haag was the relatively Conservative part of The Netherlands. Anyway, if you do come here -- and we would love to have you -- could you bring some herring and entwersoup with you?
And later on, when America invaded Canada, the Royalists kicked the snot out of the Americans. Hmm, History.
Sure looks that way....from what I've read...Britain is having their own Muslim problems as well....it's almost as if the Muslim community has planned it this way all along....Muslims are very patient people, so I've also read, and they also know the people in America are an impatient lot.....let us hope that is not what dooms us and the future of this country.
Maybe they should ask for help from their cousins, the Sikhs. A few fellows over six feet tall with turbans and swords, and the knowledge of how to use them (the swords, not the turbans), would probably make the Muslims (Moroccans is a redundancy) think twice about harming Indian Hindu property.
... and don't forget the Reistafel (sp?), the best thing to ever come out of Dutch Indonesia.
