I just wanted to thank everyone that sent prayers for my baby, Gabriel. I had my Level II ultrasound today, and his kidneys have improved markedly! It looks like this may clear up before he's born. I will have another ultrasound at 30 weeks to be certain there isn't an obstruction, but so far, so good.
Thanks again, to everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers! God is good, and I am quite sure that He has blessed my Gabriel through y'alls prayers!

Heavenly Father, we return with hearts of praise for Your goodness and mercy to baby Gabriel and his beloved mother. Guard him unto the time he joins his family, O God, and continue to bless him and his mom with health and strength. May Your Spirit fall greatly upon this child ... may he grow in grace and in the knowledge of his Lord. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

PRAISE GOD!!!! He answers prayers!
You and your precious baby continue to be in my prayers.
To: exnavychick
Yes, prayer does work. Our son, Thomas, was very sick about 5 years ago from e. coli. The doctor said all of the literature said that in his advanced state of sickness (kidney shutdown, pancreatic bleeding, etc.), he was as good as gone (not the doctor's exact words). We had several churches praying for Thomas, and after 30 days he came home from the hospital and now is an active 9 year old with 50% kidney function, which should be adequate if maintained.
So, my faith was reaffirmed, and whenever somebody asks for prayers, I happily oblige, because somebody is listening! Best of luck and God bless.
