Reagan got divorced too at one time. We all fall short of the ideal, but that doesn't make it any less noble to strive for the ideal.
>>She looks sleazy and working for CNN doesn't help my opinion of her.<<
I don't know about sleazy, but there is something unsettling about her.
I wonder about that. With courts the way they are today, I'd say someone in Rush's position is better off with a marriage and a pre-nup agreement than he would be in an undocumented relationship [and no, I'm not trying to introduce immigration reform in this thread :) ]. We joke from time to time about two people having their lawyers negotiate their first date but sometimes that's not too far from the truth.
Rush likes to say, "words mean things." Does this apply to marriage vows Rush?
She looks like bad news.
Hope it's just a fling.
Rush Limbaugh is no Billy Graham; no Patrick of Ireland.
Rush makes fun of unstable emotional basket cases, is that the REAL reason you don't like him?
Marta was his 3rd wife? Sad situation, but at least they didn't have kids together.
That's one of the Rush Limbaugh No Boundaries ties, and she's wearing a scarf from the same collection.
Like I said, I think Marta designed all the ties. Seems like I remember Rush saying one time that he's completely color-blind.
Has anyone ever seen a picture of Marta?
I haven't. She was pretty low-key for being the wife of a celebrity like Rush Limbaugh.
Boy was I out of the loop, didn't know Rush was on his third wife, was getting divorced, or that he was dating that CNN anchor chick. Isn't that practically treasonous? Rush can be great at times but he is often a blowhard. One thing that annoys me is Rush is NEVER wrong, according to Rush. And he played his opposition to Arnold in an extremely coy, cowardly fashion to hedge his bets.
Newsflash to NewsMax... This is a PRIVATE matter.
According to Mark 10:2-12, it seems they might still be.
(Hyper-defensive Rush fanatics take note: This is not intended to condemn anyone. Just making an observation.)
RWR did not ask for the divorce, Jane did. IF my memory serves me.
Agreed
Yes, you are correct. But that does not negate my statement.
I was making the point that it would have been more respectful for Rush to wait for a day other than President Reagan's memorial service in Washington to tell folks of his marital issues. The fact that President Reagan was divorced doesn't some how give Rush a pass to be respectful when the nation was mourning a man that Rush respected very much.
Well, I'm sorry you're demanding perfection.
I'd be willing to bet that Rush did not say those vows with a divorce in mind.
I bet she's a real looker. ;)
