I haven't even looked below to see if you were flamed yet. But bravo for your courage to stand up to the Rush lovers. I listen to Rush, Sean, Michael M, Dennis, Laura, Glenn, Michael S, but I never signed up as their disciple. Like my political leaders, I see them as being there to do a service for me. To entertain, to push my political agenda. I do not revere them as Gods, they all have feet of clay.

Boy was I out of the loop, didn't know Rush was on his third wife, was getting divorced, or that he was dating that CNN anchor chick. Isn't that practically treasonous? Rush can be great at times but he is often a blowhard. One thing that annoys me is Rush is NEVER wrong, according to Rush. And he played his opposition to Arnold in an extremely coy, cowardly fashion to hedge his bets.

Rush irritates people who really DO think they're always right. Is that the REAL reason he rubs your fur the wrong way?

I think his perceived arrogance is a show, it's part of the Rush on air persona. If he were really obnoxious in person I doubt he would be as sought after as he is.
