I just heard Tony Snow say he has colon cancer.
Sorry I 1st see you're a Freeper the morning of this announcement. Just said a prayer for you. Keep theological faith and hope.

Lord God, You are the God who knows us completely. You say that even the hair of our head is numbered. But, You also say that not a sparrow drops from the sky without Your knowledge. And if You care for even a sparrow, then the lesson is not lost on us. You care for each of us. It is in this light that we pray for Tony. We pray that You enable him to rely on Your love no matter the circumstance. Give him such assurance of Your care that nothing will cause him to stumble -- certainly not illness. In Christ's name we pray; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Bad news, but it is definitely one of the more treatable types. My stepmother, who smoked for decades, had this surgery about 12 years ago, and is still doing fine.

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest a book for you, that has helped me a lot through cancer as well. The book is called "The Maker's Diet" by Dr. Jordan Rubin, it has truly been a blessings in our home.
