I like their style, bu. bicycles aren't vehicles for all occasions. Look it up: As I type this, it's raining (hard) and it's a chilly 34 degrees.

But they did offer free rides on their bicycles...nice touch.

Protests at the auto show started six years ago and organizers say they're aimed at raising environmental concerns and safety issues.

I can buy that.

Now I ask you, when was the last time auto drivers protested at a convention of bicycle enthusiasts? Give me a break.....

Dozens of bicycle enthusiasts peddled

This is funny; news agencies - at least - should be literate IMO. Doesn't speak well of liberals in charge of education these days. Bicyclists "pedal"; they don't "peddle."

The friendly and sometimes humorous protest focused on alternative transportation and respect for bicyclists on the road.

AHH good times were had by all. We laughed, we cried, we fixed flat tires. The Ben Gay flowed like water.

also offered passers-by the chance to ride their bikes

Sounds like they were peaceful and didn't cause any problems, proof that there are still groups out there that respect thier right to Peacefully Assemble, I give them a big thumbs up.

As far as thier issues, well I am an avid mountian biker, but I am also a car nut so there are some points of thiers I can agree with some I don't. But I do respect the group for being able to peacefully get thier messege out.

Dozens of bicycle enthusiasts peddled outside the Chicago Auto Show yesterday to protest the annual showing of new and prototype vehicles.

And in related news, dozens of abacus enthusiasts staged a protest outside the site if Intel's annual shareholders' meeting.
