PRESIDENTIAL NEWS OF THE DAY: As has become their custom while in Washington on Sundays, the President and First Lady attended St. John's Church. They are spending a quiet weekend in Washington. In DC, there is always some wag who has to nitpick just to fill column space. I saw an article the other day in which the author was speculating as to why a President who says he doesn't like Washington has spent the last several weekends in the city instead of going to Camp David. Now why can't I get paid for doing nothing -- a job situation which this author seems to enjoy.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: From the President's remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast, Feb. 3.
In November 1864, after being reelected to his second term, Lincoln declared he would be the most "shallow and self-conceited blockhead" on Earth if he ever thought he could do his job "without the wisdom which comes from God and not from men." Throughout a terrible Civil War, he issued many exhortations to prayer, calling upon the American people to humble themselves before their Maker and to serve all those in need.
Remember this whenever secularists and athiests continue their assault on the First Amendment freedom of religion clauses. On this Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, here is a SECOND QUOTE OF THE DAY: The First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Between Dubya and Cheney, I'm all aditther!!!!
the bottom photo isn't flattering, i wish we could assign that one to the dustbin.

Dear Wolfie! Thank you for Posting this Photo! It was my Favorite Picture with our Dubya with children, until my old Hard Drive Conked Out! I didn't think I'd ever see it again!!
Good evening
Hi, OldFriend. Glad the photos got your blood racing a bit today, LOL!
It's a wonderful photo, Kitty. Now you can save it again.
Thank you again, (((((Wolfstar)))))!!
As I recall, there was a second one taken of that scene that was a better photo. But Yahoo put this back to the top of their list today, so I took it. True, it's not the most flattering photo of his face, but even photos that catch us when we're not 100% still tell a story.
Thanks for the great photos--I've been looking for that rose presentation photo since the Inaugural.
What a handsome First Family!!!
Hey guys--that second photo of Miz Beazley looks an awful lot like Mickey Mac!
**Between Dubya and Cheney, I'm all aditther!!!!**
Thanks Snugs. I saved it. I just love him in his alternate world clothing.

There are a couple of other shots taken from slightly different angles, but I think this one is the best. It sure is Dubya at his most charming.
Yep, snugs, that's it. Thanks for digging it up for us.
Great photos of Dick and Lynne, snugs. I had not seen either one before. Where's that one where the two of them are gazing lovingly into each other's eyes. That would be perfect to post again since tomorrow is Valentine's Day.
I don't it has been on my hard disk several weeks/months and yes I agree would be good one for tomorrow.
Pippin do you mind if I post that photo again tomorrow
My son in Cincinnati had a campaign ad taped to their refrigerator--the photo of the President hugging the young girl from Mason who lost her mom on 9/11--I get goosebumps just writing about it. The left can't stand that he is a good and decent man, and charming and handsome besides--that's his worst crime! And that white Stetson says it all!
Do the photos I posted dissapear when you refresh the page and to see them do you have click show picture? If so and Pippin agrees I will use my other photo server tomorrow.
