Exactly. I fully expect more Blacks to continue to migrate toward the Republican party, especially with Dean now in charge of the DNC.

Tonk, you got to get Weld to run again against Hanoi, he should cream him and cost the DNC a lot of money to defend his seat.
To: AndyTheBear
I dunno. Hillary is already posturing and positioning herself as a centrist. Beware. The woman is dangerous and should not be underestimated.

Respect her, but don't fear, that plays into her hands.

Just looking at your tagline.
I started a new job as a Maintenance Clerk three weeks ago, and just found out my boss served for several months in Vietnam. He served about 30 miles from Saigon, and talked just very briefly about his experience there.
I gave him a big 'THANK YOU', as I do any member of our military, or Vets who I come in contact with. Every citizen of our country should do the same.

There was a time when a Cabinet member could run for President without having past experience as an elected official... Disagree. Its usually the VP who runs next. And even though the VP is officially on the ticket, they are not the one voted for. I think Condi would be like a surrogate VP.

Hillary - co-president so she should be inelligible? I'll go for that. And, by the same token - agree that Bush did not win in 2000, thus this is his first term. So....he can run again in 2008! Right? Poll us now, we want 4 more years.

The MSM has always told us W is stupid. They have always said the Republican Presidential candidate is stupid. And many in the MSM have tried to portray Condi as stupid--which is so absurd as to be laughable. If the MSM wants to erode the tiny vestiges of credibility they have left after this last election, who cares?

Where did people get the idea Condoleezza Rice would run for any office in 2008?
I wish she would consider it BUT last I saw, in an interview last year, she said no to any political office.

The woman is dangerous and should not be underestimated. Don't overestimate her either. She definitely has her political strengths. But they are dwarfed by her vulnerability to the scrutiny that accompanies a Presidential bid.

I read an interview where she said her parents always told her, "You can be anything you want to be including President."

Yeah and according to polls from 2003, Bush was going to be blown out of the water by any "unnamed Democrat".
Rass needs to stick to polling current issues and forget about 2008 for the next 3 years.

Oh I'm not saying fear her. I'm saying she shouldn't be underestimated. If she's elected, *then* she should be feared. :)

Jesus, I know. Polling this early is sacrilege, but don't put anything past Mr. "My polls are the best polls" Scotty.
For Rice to be behind 47-40 in a Rasmussen poll after having been in Bush's shadow for eight years is phenomenal. Marvelous, in fact. Expect future polling to show them drawing even along about 2006-2007.
In a side by side campaign, there would be no contest. Rice in a walk.
Here's something else: Morris's internal polling must have been much more promising. He's been climbing the walls trying to get Rice to jump into the race, and she's only been SOS for a month. He'd probably suck her toes if he could.
Hillary can't be happy. Below 50% after all those years of name recognition? Turd floats in punchbowl.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Scott needs to find something of importance to survey. IMO, neither of the females will be in the race in 08..... Sure, neither one of them may be a candidate. Wouldn't you just love to see the televised debate though.
