Disagree. Its usually the VP who runs next. And even though the VP is officially on the ticket, they are not the one voted for. I think Condi would be like a surrogate VP.

I looked it up...ONE person with only Cabinet experience in government, and no previous elected office, won the Presidency. It was Hoover! And he was Secty of Commerce under Coolidge prior to that!
