I understand the F.B.I. has had problems along that line with translators as well.
They need to be called on it (it's bad for the profession as a whole if you can't trust a court-appointed translator! But you know that!)

In Texas we had a law that kept "Officers of the court" from advertising.
Lawyers licensed in Texas were considered to be Officers of the court.
We had very little need of tort reform then.
The law was changed and the term liar and lawyer became to mean the same.

20 means 10 and with good behavior she gets 5-7 years. Federal law no longer allows any parole, and very little time off for good behavior. I doubt she will get the full 20 years, but whatever her sentence is, she will serve at least 90% of it.
