So...does that mean he can't be King?

Now, if he'd just had the courage to do this twenty-four years ago instead of messing up Diana's life.

As long as H.M. the Queen has given her permission (which is pretty much certain) it has no effect on the succession. It is possible that it will be a morgantic marriage, which would mean that any potential issue (which is unlikely given the ages involved) are not in line to the Throne - otherwise they would fit in immediately after H.R.H. Prince Harry.

Diana was a whore.
I wouldn't go quite that far, but I am rather concerned that you and I are in agreement. Not something which I expected.

Who cares? How irrelevant is their Monarchy in GB anyway?

Thank God they're too old to breed. If they weren't, their kids would look like Clark Gable. That would be if they had any girls.

Not at all. It is the very foundation of our constitution and our enduring freedoms.

It souldn't affect William's access to the throne, but it should affect Charles', just as it did his great-uncle, Edward VIII.

Diana was a young lady who loved the glitz and glamour of being part of the house of Hanover, without the responsability. Her many dalliances were NOT the fault of Charles, but rather a lack of self control.
I think the reason you had all those ladies crying when she died is that a certain type of woman lived vicariously through Diana Spencer's escapades.
Much as I wish the House of Hanover would go away, even I will conclude that Prince Philip the Greek is a pretty cool guy.
