Poll: Most voters knew nothing of Clinton abortion speech
ALBANY, N.Y. Most New York voters don't think it's possible to find common ground on the issue of abortion, despite Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's urging that they attempt to do.
That's according to a new poll out today from the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.
The survey of some 12-hundred registered voters in New York state asked about Clinton's recent speech in Albany to fellow abortion rights supporters in which she called for all sides in the debate to find "common ground" in an effort to reduce the number of abortions.
The speech has been seen in some quarters as an attempt by Clinton to move to a more centrist position in preparation for a White House run.
But 63 percent of those surveyed said they knew nothing at all about the speech and 55 percent said they didn't believe it was possible to find common ground on the issue.

Man, she's tough on the eyes.
"Poll: Most New York voters knew nothing of Clinton abortion speech"
Most New York voters know nothing about common sense to have elected the worthless walking felon to begin with, so what's the big deal if they didn't know of her speech?
Arkansas and New York have served up these two married criminals to us at different times. Thanks much. How can we get them out of our hair?
That face would knock a buzzard off a poop wagon.
Hillary has a good sense of public sentiment, even in her so-called home state. This same survey showed a recent and quite dramatic drop in support for abortion-without-restrictions. Most New Yorkers, though they profess pro-choice sentiments, would actually agree to restrict abortion in ways that the NARAL crowd finds unacceptable.
Doesn't surprise me.........unlike us here or those who blog or those who take this stuff seriously, i'll bet 75% of America has no clue what is going on with politics until the next election........
HIllary and Barbie Boxer must have the same un trained hair dresser...

LOL, Hellary is just like all the demonrats, they are appeasers to all issues just so they can appeal to the most voters, they don't really stand for anything but themselves, anything they say I'd take with a grain of salt.
...make a train take a dirt road.
I really think she may be morphing into Madeline Halfwit.
Look on the bright side, she could be morphing into Janet Reno. I guess that's Barbara Put A Box Over 'Er's visual role model.
Like most New Yorkers really give a sh-t. As a native of the Empire State, I can tell you that the only states that are more pro-Abort are New Jersey and Vermont.
New Yorkers knew next to nothing about John Kerry other than he went to Viet Nam and voted for him too. All they need to know is the "D" in front of the candidate's name; that the candidate is an advocate for abortion; and promises to be the most ethical administration in the history of the United States; promote free health care a la Castro.
