FBI Looking At Nov. Vote Tampering
RELATED WCPO STORY
New Dispute Over November Election Results (2/2/05)
Reported by: 9News Web produced by: Mark Sickmiller Photographed by: 9News 2/9/2005 3:21:23 PM Questions about vote tampering in Clermont County have attracted the attention of the FBI.
Agents are now interviewing members of the Clermont County Board of Elections.
The allegations center on the use of stickers to cover incorrect markings on the ballots in November.
Some witnesses to the recount say they saw stickers placed over the bubbles next to Senator John Kerry's name, but never President Bush's name.
The Board of Elections director says his staff did everything by the book.
Quick! Call Keith Olbermann!
This is Clermont County Ohio, east of Cincinnati.
So, what's going on? someone was trying to eliminate Kerry votes by putting stickers over Kerry's bubble on the ballot?
What does it mean? Is the allegation that they favored Bush or Kerry? I get the impression that they favored Kerry, else this would be on CNN not the South Cincinnati Effort.
Makes a case for electronic voting machines.
Any numbers on how much Bush won by, and how many votes Kerry would have needed to overcome Bush's win?
Start with King County, Washington, the site of the coup d'etat seizing power from Governor Rossi.
"Some witnesses"
The usual unnamed suspects.
Just crap. Clermont County is very conservative. There is no need to fool around, just sour grapes. Look to Cleveland and other lib centers.
I'd be interested in seeing how the ballots were designed.
The reason I asked is that a friend in Memphis said she ALMOST voted for Kerry by accident because his name was first on the ballot. I've heard of other ballots where not only Kerry was listed first, but President Bush was listed even after lesser known candidates.
Basically, knowing the design of the ballot might explain a larger number of "oops" markings for Kerry initially when the voter meant to vote for Bush.

Quick call the MSM. LOL
I interpreted it the same way. If someone goofed while trying to vote for Kerry, they covered the goof so it would not be thrown out and Kerry would get the vote.
It would take a pretty L-O-N-G time for someone to paste 113,000 stickers over Kerry's name to change the course of this election. I wonder if Kerry even got 113,000 votes in Clermont County.
bttt
the only sticker I saw that day was a BUSH/CHENEY sticker ( the small size) stuck on the wall of the elevator....I , um, don't know who in the world stuck it there.
Why the hell doesn't the stinking FBI come out here to Ukraine County, WA and interview these communists out here who screwed up the election for governor????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
