GAZA CITY (AFP) - Palestinian Islamist militant movement Hamas said that it was not bound by the ceasefire announced by Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas at a Middle East peace summit in Egypt.
Abbas's declaration "expresses only the position of the Palestinian Authority (news - web sites). It does not express the position of the Palestinian movements," said Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Masri.

SO MUCH FOR PEACE AND THE RELIGON OF PEACE.
A few wings of B-52's with 500 pounders should help here with the attitude problem.
Israel has been applying exactly the right tactic with Hamas;
the direct targeting of all Hamas leadership . Now with a new chance of peace on the table they will have to be more tricky with that ,since Hellfire strikes from Longbows won't be well received at all. I hope the Mossad is oiling up their silencers....
Continue building The Fence.
It's the only viable option.
But there is something so "happy" about a Hellfire taking out an SUV full of Hamas henchmen from miles away! Kinda makes `ya proud to be part of the evil Zionist- controlled U.S. military-industrial-Great-Satan-Little-Satan conspiracy. The world already hates us and the Israelis,.. so why not enjoy it?
Or maybe it's late in the day, and I've had way too much coffee?
Fine. Abbas says, "no more violence". Hamas violates this. What then does the PA do? If they don't take action against Hamas, do they expect the Israelis to sit on their hands? Will the PA consider violent reprisals against Hamas to be a violation of the ceasefire? Will the PA take action against Hamas? Stay tuned ....
If they do so, we'll know that they are for real this time. I doubt that they will.
