Thought I'd gin up a live thread. If she starts in French, we'll need a translator.

Be Seeing You,
Chris
Coming up now on Fox. Says it's about 45 minutes. They'll never stay with it for that long.
I'm here, but just enjoyed seeing on CSPAN Rep Nussle, the chairman of whatever committee is discussing the budget today, smack down committee members if their only contribution to discussion will be "No," unaccompanied by any positive suggestions.
Bump!
I hope she breaks out some Russian on the Euro-twits..
She par-lays French, too!
Thanks for the thread, Chris!
Listening...
She is getting key points in first before the TV producers pull away. I certainly hope this is showing on European TV.
Thanks Howlin
Iraq is a success. Neener neener neener. She is being quite conciliatory and at the same time getting her message across.
This way there are no translation 'errors'.
I noticed that, too. I am watching but can't comment very much....babysitting. I may lose TV at any moment when GD notices cartoons aren'ton. LOL!
I'm watching...
Explaining how human imperfections make our ideals more precious. Expounding on the ever reaching desire of human beings for freedom and dignity.
Cited Rosa Parks, Lech Walensa. Noted Jefferson's ideals are still great despite the human flaw of being a slave owner.
And noted the Iraqi who through himself on a bomb to save others during the recent elections.
(Side note: Saw bits of an Andrea Mitchell interview with Rice earlier and Andrea looked aggravated that Rice isn't going around "making amends" as the media assured us she would have to do and is instead stating strong expectations of our friends and states not so friendly)
I hpie they get the message loud and clear in Iran.
I forgot to mention in her opening remarks she noted that "as a pianist" she is looking forward to visiting one of France's fine music schools tomorrow.
Condi Speech Live Thread ping.
Europe must stand ready to work with America. Sock it to 'em, Dr. Rice.
Wants it to be our common agenda, though. That's what's unsaid.
Freedom is at our backs.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
Iraqi who threw (not through as I mistakenly typed earlier)
