JUST FOR TODAY
As I go through some "troubles" in my own life, I've worked out this "formula" to help me be a useful and happy person. See if it doesn't work for you!
JUST FOR TODAY: I will try to live through this day only, and not tackle my whole life problem at once.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will be happy. I will assume to be true what Abraham Lincoln said: "Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be."
JUST FOR TODAY: I will try to strengthen my mind. I will study. I will learn something useful. I will read something that requires effort, thought and concentration.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will adjust myself to what is, and not try to adjust everything to my own desires.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will exercise my soul in three ways: I will do somebody a good turn, and not get found out. I will do at least two things I don't want to do just for exercise. I will not show anyone that my feelings are hurt; they may be hurt, but today I will not show it.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will be agreeable. I will look as well as I can, dress becomingly, talk low, act courteously, criticize not one bit, not find fault with anything, and not try to improve or regulate anybody but myself.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will have a program. I may not follow it exactly, but I will have lt. I will save myself from two pests: hurry and indecision.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will have a quiet half hour all by myself. During this half hour, I will try and get a better perspective of my life.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will be unafraid. Especially I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful, and to believe that as I give to the world, so the world will give back to me.

That's good...I always believed that having a little fun mixed in with the serious stuff made the training more effective.

Someone better watch Clintoon around all those former Navy WAVES
Did you catch the look of pride in all the players' faces and everybody else they showed during the National Anthem? Then right before the commercial, they cut to the impeached former president and the look on his face imo could best be described as a smirk.

Why, oh why, must it always end
with the dawn's breaking shimmer at the close of the night?
Like some fogotten incantation,
the counter-spell long forgotten,
how can it be so, when it feels so right?
Time is neither friend nor foe,
it simply is, along with the flow
of shimmering tresses and flashing dresses
of a Lady in silver who entwines about me,
wrapped in verse and love that surrounds me,
as my colors return, the visions are fresher,
the Muse is singing an aria of golden and silver
moonlight for me!
