JUST FOR TODAY
As I go through some "troubles" in my own life, I've worked out this "formula" to help me be a useful and happy person. See if it doesn't work for you!
JUST FOR TODAY: I will try to live through this day only, and not tackle my whole life problem at once.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will be happy. I will assume to be true what Abraham Lincoln said: "Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be."
JUST FOR TODAY: I will try to strengthen my mind. I will study. I will learn something useful. I will read something that requires effort, thought and concentration.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will adjust myself to what is, and not try to adjust everything to my own desires.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will exercise my soul in three ways: I will do somebody a good turn, and not get found out. I will do at least two things I don't want to do just for exercise. I will not show anyone that my feelings are hurt; they may be hurt, but today I will not show it.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will be agreeable. I will look as well as I can, dress becomingly, talk low, act courteously, criticize not one bit, not find fault with anything, and not try to improve or regulate anybody but myself.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will have a program. I may not follow it exactly, but I will have lt. I will save myself from two pests: hurry and indecision.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will have a quiet half hour all by myself. During this half hour, I will try and get a better perspective of my life.
JUST FOR TODAY: I will be unafraid. Especially I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful, and to believe that as I give to the world, so the world will give back to me.

Skipping to the end - I had to feed Jake and herd the others to bed - I didn't know it would take so long! LOL!!!
Was that Anheuser Busch spot the best ever?? Squeezit looked at me - as she always does - to grin at me because it brought tears to my eyes.

Kids are so perceptive, and learn what "gets to" Mom. I missed it. Where was it?

I liked the ones for Ameriquest taser and Pizza Hut Muppet Show ("Miss Piggy is hitting the sauce again!" LOL).
Off to find the Busch ad I missed.

That last score by the Eagles cost me $800.00 on a Square pool! Gnarly! At least my team won.

Ma! How can you post that sacrilige! We need a RAMS pic...everyone knows they're the true contenders next year; NOT the Cowboys!! Wait til Star sees this...
To: Radix
In my world that amount is a heck lot more than gnarly...but then again we galz don't do the betting that you guys do...glad your team won. Enjoy, next year will be RAMS or at least a Rams vs Pats scenario. (I'm hoping)
To: pelikan
Nah...she's doing JUST FINE with all those wonderful Cowboys pics.

There was no coasting today! Although, I must say, a close game is better to watch. No complacency allowed.

It was supposed to be an airport terminal or a bus station or something. They showed several scenes of people just doing normal stuff and then a bunch of soldiers start walking through and everyone stops and stands and claps for them as they walk through. At the end it just said "thank you" ~ YES! I WAS BAWLING!
