Welcome, FReepers! By Drew Johnston 02/04/05
Today is a monumental day, folks. It seems that the good folks at FreeRepublic have found out about our Tactical Assault Project and are descending on us en masse. Allow me to be the first to welcome what Im sure will be the first of many obnoxious, ignorant trolls.
Lets check out the comments:

When something Stinks, smelling it on purpose is perverse and obscene..
Their version of the truth will sink them.
"Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."
Thanks for the ping!
OK... Well heres wishing you "Interesting Times then"... Lol..
(oblique reference to another chinese proverb)
I'm apparently stupid and boring. Wait till they read some of my writing. And, as usual, they'll find some knee-jerk, refelexive response in name calling. They haven't articulated an intellectual thought in...well...never.
Thanks for the ping.
Inquiring minds want to know.
Noticed that all of their comments over there were sarcastic, childish, inanae, and typically condescending as is the nature of the beast.
And that was merely the everyday chat they do.
" inanae"
Typo demon alert in my post 50.
Check your keyboards.
Was supposed to read "inane."
Been in a hurry my way.
Now don't be snide when they're doing there very best to stretch their gray cells. It's there free speech rights to call people names. Do you understand that, Darksheare? Hmmmm?
:) Hehe!
LOL!
This is true.
They do tend to try to get the very best microwattage output measured in negative integers.
:)
I figured this was the latin version. :)
Yet another typo of mine to go on the pile, along with 'teh', 'ganags' and 'epopel'.
Thankfully, most are immune to typo infection, but a small handful have been cross-contaminated with my horrible typing.
;-)
Complaint against the government of China
Ladies & Gentlemen of the FEC:
Since your website does not show a method for anyone to file a Complaint by e-mail, but since more than half of all Americans now live on the Internet, I am using your [webmaster] address to file this one.
I am over the age of 18, an American citizen, and I hereby swear under the penalties of perjury that the information below is true to my personal knowledge.

The following website, Political Strategy, on its face looks like an ordinary American website, arguing politics from a viewpoint favorable to the left, and to Democratic candidates and policies. So far, so good. Here is its address:

However, this website was created by the government of China. Here is the registration information for this website, which any Internet guru can easily confirm as true and correct:

So, a foreign government, China, is spending money in order to influence directly American elections. This is a serious and facial violation of the laws and regulations administered by the Federal Election Commission. The very creation of this website indicates either an ignorance of or a deliberate defiance of the election finance laws of the United States.
It also indicates an ignorance of the XYZ Affair, in which the French government hired agents to influence American politics, and which nearly brought the US under President JohnAdams to war with France, in the period of 1797-98. The prevention of foreign financial influence on American elections is today, as it was then, one of the basic reasons why the FEC exists.
Since this matter is obvious and available publicly, I would expect that the FEC would take this matter up. If it is necessary for me to file a piece of paper including a Notary Public statement, please so inform me. I will drive into the nearest town, and get such a statement executed and mailed to you. Please advise.
Sincerely,
John Armor /s/

Post Script: On the possibility that the FEC will simply ignore this facial violation of its laws, I have also sent a copy of this Complaint to certain associates of mine in the national media.
Good for you!
