Gay kingdom wants UN recognition

Moves are underway for the creation of an independent GLBT state off the coast of Australia, with plans for the new nation to demand recognition before the United Nations.

Gay and lesbian activists formed the “Gay & Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands” in June last year after the Australian government passed legislation banning same-sex marriage and stripping same-sex couples of civil rights.

The activists are now working on a submission to present to the United Nations that will bring Australia before the International Court of Justice, in order to compel the country to recognize the new state as an independent nation, on the grounds that under the current laws of Australia its gay and lesbian citizens are an “oppressed people, ruled by an overseas colonial power (Australia) and therefore because the Coral Sea Islands are a colony/territory of Australia, inhabited exclusively by the Gay Tribe, by the laws of the United Nations and its charter the Gay Kingdom has the right to self determination.”

The group appear to be serious about creating a new country for GLBT “refugees” worldwide, despite the Coral Sea Islands only possessing a total land area of less than 3 square kilometres. The Gay Government has already issued passports and postage stamps to raise revenue for building infrastructure.

After establishement of this “gay homeland”, it is intended that “our nation will welcome GLBT refugees from around the world like Israel does for Jews”, say organisers.

LOL :) You mean Rear Admiral Barney Fag, don't you?

Barney Frank is a patriotic American who stood up for our troops last week when they were slandered by Eason Jordan of CNN:

I'm no fan of openly gay Massachusetts Democratic Congressman Barney Frank, but when at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, he did something which surprised -- and pleased me. And I've got to give him credit for questioning a ludicrous claim made by a CNN Executive.

According to Friday's Wall Street Journal Political Diary (available by subscription), Eason Jordan, Chief News Executive at CNN, implied that the American military was deliberately killing journalists in Iraq. He even "offered the story of an Al-Jazeera journalist who had been 'tortured for weeks' at Abu Ghraib, made to eat his shoes, and called "Al Jazeera boy" by his American captors."

And then, this liberal Democrat pressed Mr. Jordan to be more specific, putting the CNN Executive on the spot. The newsman rambled on a bit and mumbled some sort of response about how "'There are people who believe there are people in the military who have it out' for journalists." He could provide no evidence to buttress his claims, then "offered another anecdote: A reporter who'd been standing in a long line to get through a checkpoint at Baghdad's Green Zone had been turned back by the GI on duty. Apparently the soldier had been displeased with the reporter's dispatches, and sent him to the back of the line."

Had Mr. Frank not challenged him, the global elites there might have taken Jordan's words at face value, convinced that Americans were indiscriminately targeting journalists. Thanks to Barney Frank, world leaders assembled in Davos learned that there was no substance to such claims.

Good job, Congressman.

Maybe "ppl" wouldn't be so cruel to them if they weren't militant and in your face, going after our kids in schools.

They never wanted to be simply "left alone", and history has shown wherever they go, Decadence follows and civilization crumbles.

I think it is a great solution. Just don't ask us for foreign aid or Visas.

When they vote for their leaders, will they all hold up brown stained fingers?

I don't think it will be fingers they hold up.

Well not all gays are militant and in your face and they don't go after kids in school (i don't know where you got that idea, I've never seen any gay go after school kids) A lot of them do want to be left alone, its the extremest that you see on the news and T.V. Not all gays are the same.

You strike me as very naive, and I even suspect you're still in school yourself.

But no matter. Just because you aren't aware of the ACT-UP mantra of "we're queer, we're here, and there's nothing you can do about it" doesn't mean they aren't militant.

And you'd better believe they have an Agenda and are infiltrating the schools. Click here for more than you'll likely want to know.

So now we have a place to deport them to?

A remote island surrounded by sharks sounds about right.
