Mary Lane now on Carlson saying it was an overwelming victory for Rossi today. The case will go forward and now they can bring up all the felons, dead people, etc. voting. The Judge has ruled this case go forward and if ruled in their favor (Repubs,) then this election will be ruled null and void and then the Legislature will have to call for another election. Mary Lane saying the Liutenant Govenor would take over and the soonest Rossi and GAGroir would be on a ballot again would be in November.

It's my understanding that the Governor's election is prohibited in odd years because they must be elected along with the legislators.
So, I'm thinking that it will be 2006 when we have the Re-vote.
I could be wrong, but that's how I interpreted the judges words.
To: Wristpin
Good question, if so, was it by a bigger margin that could NOT be questioned or was it by a similar hairs breath?

OK, so he was not recently elected by a similar tiny margin then?

Well, Owens has been the Lt. Gov. for quite some time, so... Question; is the Lt. Governor race a separate item on the ballot? If not, it would seem that Owens is also tossed out.

That's confusing me, why is the Democrat Jim and not Owen in that post?

Those bills would still have been duly passed by the Legislature. But if not signed into law by a legitimate governor, would they be law?
And I was just calling her a female dog. Even that's a stretch in respectability.

Hard to decipher this thread!
But what sense is a law where the loser of an election knows the other cheated but his attack can only result in another election two years later? No loser, no matter how outrageously cheated, would bother to make justice.

MORE INFO
Dear Neighbor: I just received additional information on the rulings today, occurring just after I'd hit the 'send' button. Superior Court Judge John Bridges ruled that under state law, he does not have the authority to order a revote, as requested by the Republican Party. However, Judge Bridges did not completely dismiss the case as requested by Democrats, and it is presumed that this case is now likely to head for the Washington State Supreme Court. I am sure there will be additional breaking news on this throughout the weekend. If you have any thoughts, comments or opinions on this - please feel free to contact me, I am happy to hear your concerns. Thank you, and have a nice weekend. But the winner wouldn't be the governor - i.e. most likely the election o certification would be voided, and the seat vacated. So, the "winner" who won through fraud would ALSO not be governor.

Yes, but by enough votes that his election is not in question.
To: Hank Rearden; Chad Fairbanks
But if not signed into law by a legitimate governor, would they be law? That would depend on what happens to a bill a legit governor refuses to either sign or directly veto (ping to Chad the Answer Man).
And I was just calling her a female dog. Even that's a stretch in respectability.
I hear you; the AutoResponder (pat. pend.) removed "bitch" by error :-)

Yeah, but in reality what wronged loser would put up the big bucks when the only result is some election 2 years away?
