Ward Churchill. Masquerading as Indian for years behind his dark glasses and beaded headband.

Ward Churchill was scheduled to speak at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York on February 3, 2005. His appearance was canceled by the college after he caused a public furor over his loathsome remarks about the 9-11 tragedy in New York. AIM's Grand Governing Council has been dealing with Churchill's hateful attitude and rip-off of Indian people for years.

The American Indian Movement Grand Governing Council representing the National and International leadership of the American Indian Movement once again is vehemently and emphatically repudiating and condemning the outrageous statements made by academic literary and Indian fraud, Ward Churchill in relationship to the 9-11 tragedy in New York City that claimed thousands of innocent people’s lives.

Churchill’s statement that these people deserved what happened to them, and calling them little Eichmanns, comparing them to Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann, who implemented Adolf Hitler’s plan to exterminate European Jews and others, should be condemned by all.

The sorry part of this is Ward Churchill has fraudulently represented himself as an Indian, and a member of the American Indian Movement, a situation that has lifted him into the position of a lecturer on Indian activism. He has used the American Indian Movement’s chapter in Denver to attack the leadership of the official American Indian Movement with his misinformation and propaganda campaigns.

Ward Churchill has been masquerading as an Indian for years behind his dark glasses and beaded headband. He waves around an honorary membership card that at one time was issued to anyone by the Keetoowah Tribe of Oklahoma. Former President Bill Clinton and many others received these cards, but these cards do not qualify the holder a member of any tribe. He has deceitfully and treacherously fooled innocent and naïve Indian community members in Denver, Colorado, as well as many other people worldwide. Churchill does not represent, nor does he speak on behalf of the American Indian Movement.

New York’s Hamilton College Kirklands Project should be aware that in their search for truth and justice, the idea that they have hired a fraud to speak on Indian activism is in itself a betrayal of their goals.

Thesis in 1974: The English Conception of America, 1550-1770

As noted earlier, might be enlightening to cross-check it for "borrowed scholarship", especially his sources.

Ward Churchill, meet the Blogosphere. His Hairiness is about to find out what happens to frauds when "the swarm" decides to give 'em the once-over.

I am convinced that, for the most part, college books are all a scam!

My daughter just wrote a very well-received paper in her college Lit class on the issue of textbook costs. It will require action from local school authorities to address some of the abuse, but one way to lower your costs in the interim is to shop online. I just used Half.com and a couple of other sources for this semester's books for my two in college and we saved over 50% off list (and even bought some in mint condition).

Probably because they get their info from movies, in this case either "Saving Private Ryan" or "Lord of the Rings".

I saw that stupid picture of his trying to look like Jack Nicholson with the goofy sun glasses when I was looking for his email to tell him I'm sorry his speaking engagment was cancelled and that he is like a little Hitler and a little Goebbels combined into one package.

Maybe Dan Rather will interview him on 60 Minutes II before that show gets axed.

Americans need to see the left, raw in unhinged.

Unenrolled= They don't recognize status. In other words, beat it!
The tribes are picky about admitting members, particularly when it's a "wannabe". You'll always find a good old boy who will do the 'blood brother bit', but if the tribe has any assets, they don't intend to share with every jerk coming down the road.

His appearance was canceled by the college after he caused a public furor over his loathsome remarks about the 9-11 tragedy...this guy was on Fox News last night claiming that "President Bush at least symbolically is a terrorist" - when you get down to that level of abstraction, anything can be anything - but clearly concretely and absolutely Churchill is an imbecile.......

It would also be intersting to check his Master's Thesis for plagerism.

You know, this would make an interesting and potentially very useful project.

We could pick a different loud mouthed campus leftist every month or two, look up everything they ever published, get their C.V.'s and applications (should be a matter of public record), and then divide up the work and Google the hell out of it.

Nobody is lazier, more dishonest, or less in touch with truth and reality, than the typical Marxist college professor. There ought to be oodles of plagiarized text and falsified job applications out there to discover.

We could possibly get dozens of the useless locusts fired and forced to get real jobs. Mao sent his intellectuals out to the collective farms to learn from the proletariat; perhaps we could help send some of these scum bags to work alongside the janitors and yard boys of America.

We need someone like Sean Hannity to give it a public face. It could be the next big distributed project on the Internet, like Linux or SETI@home. Call it, let's say, GetACollegeCommieFired@home. I like the sound of it!
