Quorum calls can be done at any time for a time delay.

Kind of like hitting the 'pause' button on a VCR.

Last year's expiration did not kill it completely.

Oh, I see the problem; you're clueless.

They always have the same comment....have a nice day.

They must be used to us pranking them, particularly the Old Klansman.

What we should do is all send him a few sheets of white paper via the mail, all on the same day.

I call at least one politician every single day. Often to chide but on occasion to praise.

All aides have been instructed to be polite and for the most part they are, but I do get under the skin of the Kennedy folks.

They hate me!!!!

President Bush has told Congress, if they go down that road, he will sign their death wish and sign the AWB into law.

Why risk breaking your oath to defend the Constitution by not vetoing it? In this political climate, there would be NO pilitical backlash whatsoever on this. I like Bush, and think he has been a tremendous Commander in Chief, but on this issue, he is pathetically ignorant. So is Gonzalez.

Gonzalez has been on record as not supporting abortion. There isn't a whole helluva lot he can do, aside from enforcing the law until the law is overturned in the courts.

As for the AWB. When a person dies, they expire, they don't go into limbo or an altered state of being. THEY DIE!

He's ENTITLED to a personal opinion

On that we agree. My personal opinion is that if one cannot trust me to own whatever firearm I desire, I cannot trust them to be a part of my government.

When Sheets is up..watch when he goes to pull the Constitution from his pocket.. The last few times he has spoken, he had a lot of trouble..it took him over 5 minutes once to "find" it..He wants to run again in 2006, I'm not sure if he lasts that long..

Then run for office to rectify the wrong you see. If elected, then WE can criticize your ever move.

And as I said that isn't what I've asked you about.... can you grasped that?

Are you under the impression that a Republican Congress, most of whom are pro-2nd Amendment, are going to pass a bill reactivating the AWB?

Oh, I see the problem; you're clueless.

I'm trying to keep this civil. The point I was making is that the AWB can go through Congress and potentially pass and become law of the land again. 2nd Amendment supporters must not get complacent with the expiration.

At this point, no. A Columbine-like tradgedy with the right types of weapons could change that though.
