President Bush has told Congress, if they go down that road, he will sign their death wish and sign the AWB into law.Why risk breaking your oath to defend the Constitution by not vetoing it? In this political climate, there would be NO pilitical backlash whatsoever on this. I like Bush, and think he has been a tremendous Commander in Chief, but on this issue, he is pathetically ignorant. So is Gonzalez.

Are you under the impression that a Republican Congress, most of whom are pro-2nd Amendment, are going to pass a bill reactivating the AWB?
